I love Fluevog shoes, and I had to get these ones in black! So I did, but what a disappointment: they are unexpectedly uncomfortable, narrow and feel wrong, after months they still stain my feed black, and they have inner seams that are cutting into my flesh. After a couple of trips to my local cobbler I can wear them...not your typical Fluevog experience, thankfully I am a Fluevog-believer

Lovely Loves!

I fell in love with these online, and drove all the way to Vancouver to meet them. The first few times I wore them, the color of the leather wore off on my skin/socks, but they broke in very quickly and the marking has since stopped. The soles are grippy and although the cut is narrow, they are super supportive and just feel great to walk in. They are my true shoe love, filling a hole in my wardrobe and in my heart that I didn't even know I had. Thank you, John!

beautiful in black, but...

Was drawn to these when they first appeared on the website, and when I finally tried them on they were instantly comfortable. I love how they look with jeans. The fit is a little narrow and because they come in full sizes only, I went up a size. The down-side is that the black is rubbing off onto my socks, too (or my feet if I don't wear socks)! These shoes are still gorgeous when worn with black socks, but I was looking forward to seeing some colour through the cutouts. Will this dye issue persist?

these are cute, comfortable shoes but I'm sad to report that my black pair turns my light-colored socks black! do you have a remedy for 1)how to stop this and 2)how to remove the dye from socks? thanks!

New addict!

I was just introduced to Fluevog's while visiting Vancouver, BC. I'm in love!! I got this pair and it is a fabulous, everyday, wear with everything kind of shoe. It works with my jeans, slacks and skirts. I'm an addict now. Just have to decide which pair to get next!!

Everyday Shoe/Hipper than your mom's

I work at Fluevog, so I'm on my feet ALL DAY; bending down, reaching up, and helping YOU folks get those shoes on your feets! That said, I need a shoe that makes me look cool without the effort AND lets me get my work done comfortably. This shoe does it all and still manages to make me feel a little less schlubby than my peers. I recommend to my customers with a bit of the bunion affliction, that they have their local cobbler or trusted Fluevogologist give this puppy a bit of a stretch in the right places. Ahh...sweet relief. Pick up a pair, and you'll know that we never steer you wrong!

Tough and girly

This is my eighth pair of Fluevogs, and they might just be my favourites so far. What I love about Fluevogs is how well balanced they are. I mean that structurally: there is something about how the parts fit together, the relationship of heel height to toe shape. I don't know: they just work. I bought these three days ago and I haven't worn anything else since. They require NO breaking in. Actually, now that I think about it, Fluevogs rarely need breaking in. Buy em, put em on, walk for miles. These babies look awesome with jeans, but they are also rather pretty with the cut out tops. Wear them with brightly coloured socks or tights and they really rock! They fit narrow, so I went up a size. Love, love, love...

My Newest Vog Addition

These little beauties were the newest in my ever growing collection of Vogs ,-) Wendy (my fabulous Vog-friend in Calgary) helped me & my hubby have a great visit while we were down for his b'day a couple of weeks ago, these just HAD to follow me home @>- I've never had luck with this shoe family before, b/c my wide feet never fit comfortably, but this style is much more forgiving in the width (maybe due to the cut of the leathers accross the toe?) Anyway, SO comfy right out of the box, so practical b/c the heel is great for walking, and SO stylish! I've worn them with everything from skirts to dresses to jeans, and they are the perfect compliment to them all. P-) Normally I don't buy neutral colours when I shop Fluevog, but the brown in these is delicious & I SO easy to wear with everything! :-) I know these will become a standby in my shoe-wardrobe!

I bought these about a week ago while shopping in San Francisco ( the Haight store). Loved these shoes the minute I tried them on. They have a great western boot feel and look about them that looks fabulous with jeans. Have received many compliments on them. I am a true size 9 and wear a 9 in most of my Fluevogs and these fit perfectly in a 9. Wear a contrast color sock and the perforation design really pops.
