Inspired by Wabi Sabi, a Japanese concept centered around the notion that nothing is permanent, and beauty is in the imperfections of aging, John brings you an intrepid shoe from deep within his creative mind (which is both imperfect and impermanent). Designed as a basic gibson on a long footbed with a rounded toe-shape, the Drew is all about the subtleties. Made in Vietnam with partial blake construction, leather soles, stacked leather heels, and arrives in either black pebbled German leather, or in unlined Italian natural leather. The Drew will patina and soften with age, and will only get better like the finest sake.
Becky and Gabe from our Washington DC store says:
The shoe was pretty long on my foot. I recommend to go down a half size.

I had a couple pairs of Fluevogs before I purchased these ones and I am in love! They are my FAVORITE pair. I work for a company that sells a lot of Fluevog product, so it was always a brand I stood behind. When I was in New York I made a point to go to the store to see what it was like and to buy a pair of something, after looking for a few minutes I saw the Drew in Beige and I was SOLD!!! I was shocked that I had to go up a size in this shoe but the woman helping me insisted and she was right. The leather is beautiful and after a day of wearing them they had already begun to break in and look amazing. This is such a great shoe!
