In 1889, Pioneer Libby Smith (age 16) was captured by a tribe of Native Americans and was forced into a tribal death-game called "the gauntlet." After surviving a near-fatal tomahawk to the head, Libby later became famous as an integral part of the "77" - a renegade vigilante group who helped protect the settlers of Montana. Using soft dusty leathers with faux-spats & buttons on a 2.5" Fellowship-hi heel and tunite Bellevue sole, this zipped calf-high boot is sure to get you through the Gauntlet in one piece.

Awesome Boots!
These boots are so fabulous! These are one of my favorite pairs in the black and white. I get loads of compliments from people I pass in the street. Thanks for another great pair!

Lots of compliments
I get lots of people asking about these and I get to tell them that they are really comfortable on top of looking fabulous.

I love my spat boots!
I just bought the black and tan, Libby Smith boots two days ago in the Gastown Store.. Wesley is AWESOME. I'd seen these boots on my sister's cousin to be and HAD to have them too. Their so pretty, I love that their spats. I find that they fit my feet perfectly (I'm a 7, with a slightly narrow foot), and their quite comfy. They were my first Fluevog purchase and I'll definitely be coming back for more.
Libby Smith boots
I saw these in the New York store when they first came out. I already owned five pairs of Fluevogs and was low on funds after Christmas, but they called out to me and I had to get them. They're knockouts. I got the black ones with the cream colored spats and red buttons, and every time I wear them people literally stop me in the street to tell me how great they look and ask where I got them. The size 8 1/2 fits me perfectly (as do all my Fluevogs), and I can walk the streets of New York in them all day without even feeling that I have on heels. I've bought two more pairs of Fluevogs since and have quite a collection. Now if only I could stop lusting after some of the new sandals . . .

Best. Boots. Ever.
These splendid spats are my second pair of Fluevogs, and definitely my favorite! I typically wear a size 6, and went up to a 6.5 for these - they fit fantastically! The toe box is a little big (I have narrow feet), so I may get some insoles for that. Otherwise, just dreamy! I rocked them with some jeans (rolled up to show them off), and also with a skirt and tights. I love my Fluevogs. My Fluevogs love me.

beautiful!
I'm still on the fence about these boots...just tried them on at Gravity Pope in Calgary. The leathers are gorgeously soft and the colours are rich and stunning. The taupe in the taupe/olive combo looks darker in person than it did on my screen (almost a very soft light brown), but I like it even better that way. These boots ran true to size for me and made my size 10 feet look smaller. I love love *love* the fake spats. They were the perfect boots except that they're a bit loose in the calf -- I guess they are probably made that way so you can wear them under jeans, but I'd rather wear them under long skirts. So I'm still debating...

Saving up for a third pair....
I am crazy for spat boots! I bought two pair of these the moment I could afford to do so. I have them in the olive/taupe and the black/beige. It's true they don't have as much arch support as other 'Vogs but they are still comfortable for everyday wear. I love them so much I am already saving up for the black and red ones.

Beautiful!!
I love these boots! They are my second pair of Vog's. I can wear a 7.5-8.5 depending on the brand (38-39 euro sizes) of shoe. I bought these in 8.5 and they fit great. The leather is so soft and the buttons are delightful. However, they are not as comfortable as my Xie Xie's. The arch support isn't as high. Also, not as much traction on the sole. Even though they aren't as comfortable as my Xie's I still would have bought them if I had tried them on first. The style is so unique and beautiful. Quite the delight!

Deeply In Love... Thanks Fluevog Gastown
I was in Vancouver with the intention of purchasing these boots while I was there, and they did not fail to disappoint. I've had a million 'Man those are hot!' and I've only had occasion to wear them 3 times. They're super comfy.I'd just like to add that not only is the Gastown Fluevog store STUNNING, the girl who helped me (wish I had got her name!) was amazing.

Best shoes ever
Honestly, I for the life of me, I suck in heels. They kill my toes, but this pair of shoes is the only pair of heels I can wear to work and stand in (seamstress/designer) for 8 hours and then some. Seriously, not only are they killer cute (I am pretty sure I don't need to point that out) but they are comfortable and they will get you stopped on the streets with questions of "where did you get those". As for fit. I have a regular width foot and they were a bit snug but the leather was supple and formed to my foot perfectly. I wear a 10 in most shoes and I know I wear an 11 in Fluevogs. And yes, they look fab with jeans and a t-shirt, tucked in or out of the pants.
