The silhouette of The Ranger is simple and sophisticated. A 3.5" curved heel, tunite soles, rubber grips, and a hidden 1.5" platform made of recycled cork is all tied together with a simple, durable side elastic to complete this Chelsea boot. Finally, the choice of Portuguese cameo-printed suede or pebbled leather will prove you're a style soldier, whether you're marching the city streets or on your way to boot camp. Prepare for the Future, choose well today.

This is an awesome boot that fits true to size with a little extra room for those looking for a wider calf fit!

These are fabulous!!! Truly fabuliciously comfy shoes!
After checking out the Fluevog website for a couple of months I just HAD to go to the store to try on my first Fluevogs. Love the Zachary boots but they run too small for me in terms of calf size (unfortunately), so I tried on a few others - all shoes are so very well made and completely cool (I will be back for more!) - sooooo I walked home with these ones... literally, because I put my other shoes in the bag. These Fluevogs are incredibly comfortable. I put them on and they fit like a glove. And you are talking to someone, who usually likes to wear sneakers all day, so it really means something. I LOVE these boots!!!

I was a little wary about getting these because i thought maybe they would look a little bulky and possibly hard to walk in. As soon as i put them on though they were easy to walk in due to the actual height of the heel, (ie most of the height comes from the platform) and they look fantastic especially teamed with a shirt dress or similar. All in all, LOVE these shoes, and cant wait to take to the streets in them!

My New Favorite Boots!
Got these a couple of months ago. Required no breaking in - immediately comfortable out of the box. I order up a 1/2 size for most of my Fluevogs, and these were no exception. I have a high instep so after wearing these for more than 8 hours I will start to notice a little pressure on top of the middle of my foot, but I expect that will improve with time as the leather stretches. Because these are platforms, the actual heel is not very high, so they are quite comfortable to walk in all day. The measurements listed for the heel are not accurate. The heel is actually about 2.5 inches high, and the platform is about 1.25 inches high, so your relative heel height is only 1.25 inches - very comfortable for walking, while still giving the dressier appearance of a higher heel.

Can't camouflage my love
The only reason these boots are not on my feet as I write is that I got two--yes, TWO--pairs of Vogs today! I should just wear one of each, I suppose. I got the Prepare Ranger in camo: these are my fifth pair of Prepares. I guess you could say I love this last. The 8s fit my 9 5/8 inch foot perfectly, they are so comfortable for walking and standing (the soles are quiet and cushy), and so unusual and astonishing for posing. Not that I pose. I conquer the world in these--in a non-military way, of course--with skinny jeans and a camo print thermal top or a long, zip-front skirt with a military jacket. An extra big thank you to Saint John, for reading my plea to make Prepares as boots. I am beyond happy!
