I am a 69 year old retiree from the States living in Mexico. I bought my shoes while visiting Vancouver. I needed sandals to wear with a tunic outfit that I bought in Mexico for my nephew's wedding in the states. EVERYONE loved them. I do too, however, my right leg from top to bottom hurts when I walk!!! The shoes themselves are very comfortable but since I have only worn flats for at least 6 years, I think my body is just not used to the "stretch"!! I do Zumba and walk but I believe I need to do more stretching exercises before I wear them again. The shoes are great however, and I love them.

Gorgeous but impossible

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fluevogs and I LOVED these shoes, but I ordered them online, and found that they are painful to wear and next to impossible to walk in. If you love these shoes, try them on in the store; don't order them online!

Present from my Sweet Baboo

My sweet baboo bought me a pair of 'vogs as a present, and we had a lot of fun picking these out. These sassy orange sandals put me at his eye level - fun! The fit is fantastic and I have gotten tons of compliments on them already. They are not great shoes for driving - the platform's chunky toe likes to grab my brake pedal - so I will wear them after driving, or be a passenger!

No Matter What!

When I received the email for this shoe, I called the Fluevog store on Mulberry St. in NYC, stopped what I was doing, hopped on the train and PRESTO! I was dancing in the store with them on––my feet were very stable. These shoes look fabulous no matter WHAT I'm wearing! I'm stopped CONSTANTLY. The best? I can dance in them. Because a true doll should look as good on her feet at 3 a.m. as she did at 11 p.m. And I'm a size 10, baby!

Absolutely Beautiful!!

Only John Fluevog could make a shoe this awesome! I treated myself to a pair in Blood Orange for my 34th birthday this last Monday. Brie at the Melrose shop is a doll beyond words. I was so blessed to get to know her over a pair of Rahabs.. I've been wearing Fluevogs for 19 years!! Whoa, that's over half my life! What continuously amazes me about John's epic creations is that a woman such as myself who has morphed like a chameleon so many times over can always find the perfect shoe to compliment the particular NOW moment in my life! Thank you, John!!!!

I went to the Fluevog store yesterday specifically to buy these after having seen them on the site. They were already sold out of the brown in my size (6), but the black ones came home with me as pair #40 (what can I say? I'm an addict). These are incredible. Normally, Fluevog is excellent at making a huge heel feel more manageable through a platform, but these are exceptional. You really can't tell the heel is anywhere near 5# and the padded footbed means they're honestly comfortable. Plus, of course, they're to die for gorgeous and have a lot of room to adjust that ankle strap. Luscious.
