In 1999 John Fluevog designed the legendary "Grand National" cloven hoofed boot. Now ten years later, to commemorate this famous heel, John has created the inverse heel to the GN in the LA family. SIDE ZIP with a 6" heel molded in an Italian factory that specializes in extreme high heels, these are not for the faint of heart. A bitchin' knee high boot made of Italian Luminato leathers, gold leather lining, and a 6" wedged heel, is what any woman needs to get what she really wants.

For my 20th pair of Fluevogs, I needed something really special. I had just found a pair of 2nd hand Grand Nationals, and felt the urge to complete the set with a pair of LA's. They are so comfortable and easy to walk in, I can even wear them as casual everyday shoes without feeling to overdressed. They are a full size smaller than usual, and fit perfectly. Thank you John.

The Ultimate Boot
It is impossible not to feel sexy in these!! I want to prance around in them all day long. If you wear high heels a lot they are a breeze to walk in considering the height. My favorite pair of boots of all time!!

The leather is very soft making them a perfect play boot. Not for mad dashes on public transport or street fighting; but perfectly lovely for swanning about in a dungeon for a few hours

These are beautiful, there is no doubt about that. They are lined in gold, you'll feel like a rockstar wearing them. But they really are not meant for walking or standing for very long. For short periods of time, they're great. But don't wear them to a cocktail party, art opening or someplace where you will be standing. Maybe that is obvious.
I'm wet with these boots...
John has created the most sensual boot ever! When I saw these online it made me weak in the knees..then my heart fell when they didn't come in a SZ12. Then my girlfriend offered to take me to the Chicago store to shop (and buy) my first pair of Fluevogs (they have several styles in SZ12) for my birthday and spend $ on me. I had to try these on anyway in a SZ11 (black/gold boot) to see...just maybe.. and.. to the wonders of the goddess.. they fit, snug but they fit... and then I cried, this time w/ joy. I now have as my first pair of Fluevogs the sexiest boot ever (and the Bondgirl for those sexy butch days). The goddess of all that is shoes, has looked at me and allowed me to be her prophet, for through JF and his creations I shall spread the word & experience of all that is sensual & hot. For she said, stand proud and tall in thine heels.

Stiletto...an attitude.
John, your shoes and boots leave me weak in the knees but these LA's go beyond that. When I wear these boots my whole attitude changes. They bring out the inner Grrrl in me. They are comfortable, sexy and a great conversation starter. Love them, love you.

These shoes are amazing. The leather is very very soft so the flex around the ankle makes it easier to walk in. I noticed these were more comfortable than my grand nationals in terms of walking and standing. The sizing is about the same as Fluevogs usually run, about 1 size smaller. I normally wear a 7 and sized up to an 8 with these.
