I have been searching for just the right pair of boots to wear for my wedding and when I stumbled upon these boots I fell in love instantly. I had never owned a pair before and so I went to the San Francisco Union Square store to try them on. I knew as soon as I took on step in them that they were PERFECT. I can't wait to wear them with my dress and then wear them again and again after the wedding. They are beautiful and unique...

I'm in the love with the Red Babycakes!!

I just received the Red Babycakes & I love love love them! As soon as I saw them I knew I had to buy them right that second. I'm getting married on Halloween and my dress is black & red. These boots go perfectly with my outfit. I ordered my boots from the NYC store & the girl I ordered them from was extremely helpful & beyond nice. I normally wear a size 9 but ordered these in a 10. I have the black babycakes in a 9 1/2 and after trying on the 10, I wish I had ordered the blacks in a 10 as well. You learn from experience. :) The detail on the red babycakes is really great!

Gorgeous AND functional

These fantastic boots have totally lived up to my expectations, which were very high after reading all the glowing customer reviews on this site. Also, I've been walking around in Operettas all year, so the bar for cuteness and comfort was pretty high anyway. I've only had the Babycakes for a week, and despite the fact that it's flip-flop weather, I have not taken them off my feet. They are beautiful, stylish and so comfortable it's hard to believe they have three-inch heels. I walked several kilometers along the seawall yesterday with no problem at all. The f-soles seem really sturdy, too, although I haven't had them long enough to comment on how well they hold up. As to sizing: I found they run true to size, or even a little bigger. They have a nice roomy toe box. I'm normally a six, and I could probably have taken a half size smaller in this boot, except it doesn't exist. The calf sizing is perfect on my smallish legs. The verdict: Babycakes are worth the money. I absolutely recommend them.

YIPPEE

These boots are just the cutest most comfy boots ever. I really can't say enough about the staff at the Toronto store, most employees in retail will tell you things look fantastic on you just to get the sale, not here, they are honest, I really appreciate that and would recommend this store to anyone looking for great well made shoes that are stylish and unique. Oh , I forgot to mention the BEST part, they sent the boots out to have them stretched to fit my not so skinny legs, and now they are PERFECT.

I just got these a few weeks ago and it was fairly love-at-first-sight, but they started coming apart at the seam near the heel and now I should take them back. I love these boots very much but it just isn't going to work between us.

New York item!

I've never been to New York but my Babycakes have. When I ordered them almost two years ago that's the store that had my size, finally!!! They make my toothpick legs look absolutely astounding!!!

Oh, WOW

These boots are incredible! I was a little wary spending so much on a pair of shoes that I was having mailordered, but they fit beautifully, and they are honestly the most comfortable shoes, heels or flats, that I have worn in years. I am SO impressed, and so, so, so going to end up with more Fluevogs, now. Just... WOW.

a real class act!

These were my xmas gift to myself this year and wear them all the time! Note: they do relax a half size (or at least they did for my size 9 foot). I suspect it's because of the soft leather type. I must add that I work in a warehouse and have been able to put in a full day @work wearing these on more than one occasion without experiencing discomfort of any kind.

kid leather gloves

You know that Kate Chopin short story where the harried mother goes to buy necessaries for her children...but instead treats herself to a pair of silk stocking and an incredibly soft and supple pair of kid-leather boots (and then has tea and cake by herself at a cafe--f*** the kids--"The Silk Stockings" I think it's called)? These are those boots. The leather is silky and supple. I'm a 10 and at first wondered if I should have a 10 1/2, but the shoes molded to my feet w/o any discomfort, and I went dancing the first time I wore them. RE: Heel. Yes, they are more comfortable than the average heel...very balanced and sturdy. Are they as comfortable as flats? NO. But they are way hotter.

I wish I could marry them. Theyre some of the only shoes I can wear with my plantars fasciitis. And theyre SO hot and sexy and supple. I build whole outfits around them.
