Ask: Response
[Orange]
"Ask and you shall receive." « Demandez et vous recevrez. »

Still love these shoes
However, the rubber soles came unglued and wore down very quickly - within 3 weeks. However, after a brief stint in shoe hospital, they are all fixed up.

Flue-gasm!!!
I just got my first pair of Fluevogs in black. As soon as I got my shipment, I put them on right away. They fit like a dream. I am have been trolling your website for a few years drolling, and, well, I got them as a birthday gift. Happy birthday to me!!!

Sun shiney day
Just got these in yellow last week- I don't ware much yellow and don't need another pair of black sandals and the orange is a bit too neon for me.... these are such great sandals I had to try them and I'm so glad I did. The color is so sunny and happy I get so many smiles and compliments.
they fit me true to size and after 3 wares all parts are in tact. The heel strap is a little off meaning I keep making it tighter and it seems to stretch out so I might need to have more holes made like the other reviewer.
the craftmenship does seem a little less refined than any other pair of Vogs I've worn. Still over all these are delightful. :-D

Ask Clogs
I first saw the Ask clogs on one of my students' feet and had instant shoe lust which doesn't happen often. Her's were the close-toe clog version. Anyways, I was able to find a pair in Mango yellow and another pair in Black on Ebay and bought them. Love them so much! I found that the black clogs, the heel was a little too long so had them trimmed down by my local shoe cobbler. I love showing off my Ask clogs and always get compliments when I wear the eye-catching Mango yellow clogs. I'm not a clog person, but you really converted me. One problem, the heel strap does tend to stretch, so I have to do some shoe surgery to make them tighter. Pretty comfy for clogs, much to my surprise.

Repairs
Well, the only issue I had was the soles starting to fall off after only about 6 wears ... the inner had to be fixed too, it was sliding around. Cost me around $80 to fix both pairs. I have not had the studs fall out though, so have been lucky in that regard ... they seem to be ok now.

Disappointed
I fell in love with these shoes when I saw them on the website and bought them last summer. I received tons of comments! I have owned a number of Fluevogs over my life time and am a huge fan. I found them very comfortable to wear but was VERY disappointed in the quality. The wood sole is very easily marked (dinged within a day or two of wearing) and it also wore down very quickly. The studs that hold the leather in place in the front became loose and both had to be repaired. I had to replace the soles under the heels on both shoes before the end of the summer; and I'm not particularly hard on my shoes! I love the look of the new sandals on the website but am reluctant to buy them given my previous experience. Has anyone else had these problems?

Addictive
Ok, so I loved these so much I had to get them in yellow .. then orange. Only thing is the rubber soles have a tendency to detach, so a trip to the cobbler's was in order. But they're all fixed now. Will FV be bringing them out in some other colours? I'd love them in green or white!

First pair of Vogs, love love love them!
These were my first pair of Flue Vogs. I got them in basic Black although I really wanted the yellow, that will be my next purchase unless I get sidetracked by the myriad other fantastic Flue Vog ranges, that is!! The sizing chart was very accurate, I measured my feet and got the 7's, at first they were a bit tight, but now they fit like a glove and I hardly ever have them off! Except when I go to bed, well sometimes, that is ;) I can use the extra 3 inches of height, and I love the curved soles make walking much easier, albeit a bit of an adventure.

Fun Shoes!
I bought these in orange as a retro shoe. I love them! They are very comfortable. The wooden soles took some getting used to, felt like I was on a rocking horse at first! but great once you get used to it.

LOVE these shoes
In my humble opinion, these shows are AWESOME -- super comfortable, totally stylish AND retro, all at the same time. In the spring, I purchased the black pair, and succumbed yesterday to the orange. Although they are not to everyone's taste, these sandals have attracted more attention from friends and strangers alike than any other footwear I own (and I like the funky footwear).
They are extremely comfortable, they feel solid, and for someone who does not wear a lot of pointy heels, they are a safe way of grabbing a few extra inches. They also go with everything.
Please, Mr Fluevog, if you are listening, DON'T stop making these shoes! (Oh, and by the way, your staff are awesome, too).
