Best shoes ever; the 4 times I wore them

I received these shoes mid-June and loved them immediately. Unfortunately, the rubber sole on the bottom of the heel started peeling off the third time I wore them. The fourth time I wore them the rubber had completely crumbled off half way through the night causing me to limp through the rest of the night. I emailed the store and they told me to bring them to a shoe repair and they would reimburse me for the cost of fixing them. Living in a remote community I decided to not fork out the $80 to ship them out and back to a shoe repair for repairs that I'm not even sure they can do as limping around in them for a couple hours after the rubber crumbled off caused the wood to chip and splinter. Not to mention I might end up in the same situtation a month later with the other shoe. Huge disappointment. The shoes are beautiful and soooooo comfortable. I own several pairs of Fluevogs and have never had a problem with quality before or after this pair.

Love these shoes. Seeing how they were handmade inspired me to buy them and check out shoe design programs. Funny thing is that I used to be a lawyer right above John Fluevog's Vancouver store. I still remember my first pair that I bought - black patent mules with a fluorescent grey stripe and matching purse. Wore them forever.... :-D

Orangey McOrangester

I finally caved in and bought these beautiful clogs. They are wild! At first the rocking front was a bit weird but now it seems natural. BUT i just cannot walk DOWN stairs in them - feel like i will fall for sure. My most common comment 'I like your sandals but i would never wear that colour.' But its the colour i love! and they make me feel sooooo tall and beautiful.

Art for my feet!

I have admired Fluevogs for a few years now but the price has kept me from purchasing until now (tax refund treat!). These are lovely. I like the colour (yellow)--it's like sunshine on my tootsies. Also as a non-heel-wearer, these are pretty darn comfy. The weather hasn't cooperated for me to wear them out yet, but they will make an appearance soon. While my family finds them a bit too "unique," I am nothing if not atypical. As for the quality, the fit is great. I had some issues with the first pair I was sent (the leather around the front studs was loose) and was sent another ASAP (and refunded for my return shipping--great customer service from Toronto). While there was a slight ding in the wooden sole of my new pair, it is really nothing and likely occurred during shipping. The style is a bit "rustic" so minor imperfections are alright. Will I buy from Fluevog again? Very likely. But not for awhile, as they are a bit pricey and I must have restraint (you know, to pay for things like food, bills, and school).

The perfect neutral summer sandal

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that these are my sixth pair of 'Vogs since discovering them a year ago, but I justify the purchase as I "required" a summer sandal. I was nervous about the wooden clog-aspect of the sole, but was taken by the adorable look of this shoe (and its great price!), and couldn't help myself. I chose the neutral bright yellow as my poison, and sized up from my usual 6-1/2 to a 7 (I have a narrow heel, high arch and a wide foot), after the usual helpful assistance from the boys at the LA store. They fit like a dream! The platform is easy to walk in, and yes, they are a bit loud. But the rounded nature of the wood sole makes them feel like rocking horse shoes, and gives you amazing stability. I can chase after my children and feel like Lolita at the same time. I get compliments on these every time I wear them--and who can't use a few extra inches in height? Wonderful!!

Can't walk...

I bought these shoes last year after I fell in love with the look of them. They're so hip.However, I was able to wear them only two times so far. One day I wore them to work.Unfortunately, I was able to walk up the stairs but couldn't come down because not only they were making huge noise but also they made me shaky. I should have bought smaller size... Too bad it didn't work out for me since I really do love them. At least they're beautiful to look at in my closet...

Great Clog - Love them!

I bought this clog sandal shoe, in black, last year 2010. They look great and are very comfortable. Immediately all fluevog shoes that I own, I never have to break in. Yes, once owning a fluevog shoe, nothing else compares. Cannot wait until it gets a little warmer so I can enjoy another spring/summer in these excellent quality shoes. I get positive comments on them everytime I wear them. Love fluevog shoes!

Perfectly perfect

After watching the video on the making of the orange fluevogs I bought in sanfran....I now love them even more! Think I will have to buy the black this year. I am truly addicted to fluevogs shoes, any others aren't even worth looking at or trying on!
