[Black & Brown]
The Huallaga River is a fast-moving river that contains a series of rapids and deep gorges as it crosses the Andes to join the Amazon River. The Huallaga ankle boot features soft and aged Peruvian leathers on strong leather soles with a stacked leather heel, perfect for the fearless explorer. Made for the ultimate rocky moments, the rough and tough Huallaga is surprising in its elegance.

What more can be said about these boots (Rivers: Huallaga). First off, I don't write online reviews; this is my first. They are unlike any other boots or shoes that I have ever worn. Comfortable right out of the box, beautiful, stylish and extremely well made. They fit my foot like a glove and are true-to-size with some extra space at the tip (since they are narrow in design). I can wear them with tights and socks, making them perfect for almost any outfit. I purchased these for less than 1/2 of the full price. If you are on the fence and have the opportunity to get these, buy them! You won't regret it. My pair was purchased online and was delivered packed with love from the Seattle store. This is my first pair of Fluevogs and it won't be the last.

a buttery foot hug and more...
These boots are the most amazing and comfortable boots I have ever purchased. Soft, buttery leather, sleek, elegant. Sensual. They make walking a whole new experience. Though narrow looking they accommodated my orthotics with efficient aplomb. I purchased them at the Toronto store, and the sales clerk Anja was courteous, accommodating and awesome to deal with. Although pricey these boots are worth every penny. Buy these boots. Your feet will thank you. :-B

I'm with Andrea on the butter thing.
I just got these boots and they are the most comfortable pair of footwear that I've ever had the pleasure of. They are earthy, soft, sophisticated and sultry. I'd take Andrea's buttery comment a step further and call them a buttery foot hug. Gorgeous boots!

Soft, like butter!
I thought these shoes would be too narrow at first sight. Lucky for me I tried them on! They felt stiff at first, so I tried a half size up. However, as I wore them around the Gastown store they softened considerably, so I went back to my true size. Magic! I have had so many compliments since I purchased these little wonders four days ago! Simple, clean, and funky!
