LIQUIDATION | F-Shoes: Frankie [Brun]
GROUPES:   Vente   Botte   Femmes   Flats

Awesome

Gorgeous boot. Draw compliments everywhere (eg. yesterday, in a line-up in the liquor store). ,-) I have slim feet; they fit perfectly. I can't believe they are on sale either; get yours before they are gone!

A great buy!

I can't believe these are on sale, I'm surprised there are any left! I've never spent so much on shoes in my life, and I don't regret it. I bought these babies for my honeymoon trip to Europe--we're talking London, Dublin, Berlin, Prague, Bruges and Amsterdam--IN THE WINTER! These were the only shoes I brought. Seriously. I wore them straight for 21 days. No cold toes, no blisters, no unhappy feet. Admittedly, it was a warm winter in Europe overall, and I don't think these will be warm enough for the bitter Maine winters, or snowy days. But for rain, sleet, wind, and temps in the mid thirties, they are great. I wore them with leggings and skirts, with skinny pants, and with pants over the boot. All perfect. They have that great combo of tough-chick and sleek that is so hard to come by. Thank you Fluevog for not putting buckles on these!! Enough with the buckles people! I would also add that I have a hard time fitting shoes as I have a narrow foot--the size of these was exactly true for me with thickish socks. My calves are slim so although I have to tug, getting them on is not a problem. They warm up nice on the heater too! I highly recommend, especially since you can now get them for $100 cheaper. I'm glad I didn't wait though, because they are the perfect walking, dancing, cycling, partying, running for trains travel boot!

The more I wear the more I love!

I got these boots a few months ago. I'm a 7.5/38 (actual foot length 9.5") and I ordered them in an 8 though I could probably get away with a 7.5. At any rate, they're perfect with socks and they feel comfy and broken in with the first wearing. The leather is very soft and unlike the Bond or Frankie styles the shaft does not stand up on its own. They're a tiny bit larger in circumference than many Fluevog boots and they have a little bit of a "slouchy" look to them that I love. They leather lining is like butter so they're great with short or long socks. I love wearing them with over the knee socks that have a ribbon garter around the top. The girlyness of the socks and ruggedness of the boots look great together and of course they are perfect with leggings or skinny jeans. They have great traction and are fabulous in the rain. The ankle zip makes them easy to get in to and the leather is so soft I'm sure it could easily stretch at least 2"-3" with wear or by a cobbler. Highly recommended and thanks as always to Leah at the Seattle store!

Lasting love

I can't love these boots more! I longed for these for more than a year, and they are even better than imagined. Instantly comfortable, true to size, and surprisingly warm (and I live in Saskatoon so that is saying something!). Mr. Fluevog, you did it again. @>-

First Fluevog boots

I just bought my very first pair of Fluevog boots online (Frankie) in brown and I must admit I had a really darn time trying to get them on. The half zipper and the tight heel cup made it very difficult for me to get my big feet into them and a similar struggle to get out of them. But once in, they seem very comfortable and well built. I will likely need to work them in slowly as they are a wee bit tight on my right foot right across the main part of my foot. I am predicting that these are going to be my new fave boots and I am sure I will over wear them once I get them broken in a bit!

A Fluvogfloosy here!

They are super comfortable wore them out of store and to work. Was on my feet over 8 hours and all good, not a blister insight! They are a snug fit over the calf just had leggings on but I like that, and it's leather so it will streach like a second skin! They also seem to have support! I went from lace up derby boots that I've worn for years! No complaints here! Love them! :-D

Love their versatlity!!!

I walked into the store actually meaning to buy a pair of Tamaras...walked out with Frankie in my true size 9 in black!! I wore them tucked into my jeans all over on my walking tour of NYC this winter, also wore them with a dressy dress and bare legs in Miami on the same trip!! Got countless compliments in both places! Now I am looking longingly at the brown ones on sale! I think they would improve my life in big ways!

The most perfect basic boots

I purchased the Frankie's today in brown and am delighted by their comfort, simplicity, and versatile style. While an F shoe, they are lighter and more flexible to wear than my (older) bond girls. They have a light, almost cushy feel to them in wear, and run the perfect balance been tough and sleek. They are narrow-ish without being super narrow and would work well for a narrow to medium foot and calf. Can you guys save me a pair in black in an 8 for when my budget permits? :) ]:o)

Gorgeous -- but tight all over!

I've been looking for a pair of utterly plain black boots, so I was thrilled to see these, and stalked them for months before buying them. I had a chance to try them on in Toronto before ordering, which to start demonstrated that they run small. I'm on the small side of size 8; all my other 'Vogs are 8s, and some of my other shoes are 7.5, but I couldn't even get my foot into these and needed an 8.5. The shaft is, as with all Fluevog boots, terrifically narrow, so I had them stretched (two inches, I think; the shaft as measured in store was 13.5, and my runner's calves are 15.5). However, despite the outward appearance of chunkiness, the FOOT area is very snug as well. I'm wearing them right now; the heel cup is extremely tight, and so is the foot region around the arch and midfoot. My calves may be large, but my feet are not in any way unusually wide, so this is a surprise. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to take these in for more stretching before they will become the fantastic boots of comfort I envision. They are lovely to look at, though, and the washed leather is a delicious texture.
