Just as he brought us the highest peak in the world, John brings another wonder from heaven to your feet. The Everest is an eloquent t-strap that uses old gold buckles with an ankle strap for a perfect fit. Designed on a vintage Fox & Fluevog hand carved wooden last which includes a soft pointed toe with a curvy toe spring, the Everest has an unfinished raw leather wrapped 2.5" heel on a leather sole. Handmade in a Peruvian factory that has a reputation for outstanding quality and craftsmanship, the Everest features light Argentinian leathers with lots of body and depth, ornate stitching, teardrop cut outs, and will amaze your bewildered feet as you walk among the clouds.

I only wish...
I love Wonders and I have two pair. They are wonderful with everything EXCEPT the pavement. I had a huge accident when the soles slipped out from under me. Not only did I hurt myself badly; but because I was carrying my laptop, it was destroyed in the fall--a mac is now toast. Will not work again. Awfully costly shoes, I'd say. I cannot understand why John doesn't add the necessary sole to the shoe before sale, so that the customer isn't in danger of slipping and falling. It isn't fair to customers to have to go out and pay another $50.00 for a non-slip sole. Please get John to address this problem! PLEASE.--a genuine fluevoger with more than 10 pairs!

I was convinced at the Newbury St store to get the white and black pair, and they are absolutely beautiful and add a punch to any black suit. I also wear them with leggings and skinny jeans--you can put the strap around the pant leg, which looks cool, or you can replace the ankle strap with anything (velvet ribbon, leather cord, etc).
I am usually 9-10 and I got a 9 in these. I think if you have a narrow foot (like me), you can size toward your smaller Fluevog size because the pointy toe is on the long side.
Be aware that the pointy toe points upward a bit (ie off the ground), making the shoe seem more elf-ish. I didn't really like this at first but got used to it and the overall effect of the shoe is just too beautiful to pass up.

"Do not conform" Beautiful Shoes
Just received these beauties today down-under in New Zealand.
Made me think of these scriptures:
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2.
"Do no be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21.
Thank you John Fluevog - keep your light shining in His name.

Received mine today. I tried them on to see how they fit and can't seem to take them off! Love them they fit true to size and are so comfortable. This is my 7th pair of Fluevogs and can't wait to order my next pair. :-)

Super beautiful, wonderfully comfortable shoes. I did go a full size up, although the half size up probably would have fit after a little breaking in. Love them!

I couldn't wait to get home
This is my first pair of Fluevogs, and I can tell you now it will not be my last. I felt I took a big monetary risk after pining after these for so long without ever having tried a pair of Fluevogs on, but they fit true to size (I'm a size 7). I felt like Cinderella; honestly.
My only issue, is now I don't want to wear anything else!
One thing is that they're slightly more grey than pink but are still a lovely nude color. They were packed with a nice little note, too; which after a hard day just made it more personal and awesome.

As always I loved the new pair of my FVs.(Wonders T-strap).But I really disappointed w/color. I expected wht/blk as in desscription. And got bone colored shoes. It's not the first time, by the way.I'm keeping it anyway. But you'll make your devoted customers even happier if the color on the photoes and descriptions of it would be more presize!

Everest: I only meant to try them on...
...but they fit like they were custom-made for my feet and so of course I had to buy them--and yes, they are wonders! I got the black and ivory, my fifth pair of Fluevogs. These are possibly the most stunning shoes I have ever worn. My problem: it is now bedtime and I don't want to take them off. It can't hurt to sleep in them, right? @>-

So comfortable and eye-catching! I tend to need wider shoes, so I was surprised these worked out well for me--it must be that more rounded, gradual narrowing in the design, unlike the harsher narrowing you usually see in pointed toes. The dramatic t-strap design also does wonders for drawing attention away from weak-looking ankles. Fantastic shoes that get a lot of attention!

I had longed for the Everests in nude for well over a year, but couldn't justify buying them on a student's budget. So I watched as the pairs in my size dwindled down to a dangerous 2 pairs before finally calling the Montreal store. These gorgeous shoes run a bit narrow but my feet managed to tuck in just fine. Hopefully I won't need to get them stretched. The strap also fall perfectly on my ankle bone; very flattering. I can't wait to wear them with summer dresses and cropped pants!
