Perfect fall boots

I didn't think it would be possible for me to ever own a pair of tall Fluevog boots, given that my calves are too wide for their boot shafts. I lamented about my boot issues to a sales associate at the Granville location while trying on a pair of shoes, and she mentioned that some of the boots could be stretched to accommodate wider calves. I had my eye on these boots, and luckily enough, they could be stretched. I think the Radio PRIs have one of the widest shafts for Fluevogs that I have tried on, as I could zip them up (but not pull them up all the way) without the stretching. I picked them up today and am ridiculously happy with them. The leather is so soft but durable - the perfect fall boot for Vancouver. They will only look better with age. As with most Fluevogs, the boots fit a half size small, but are only available in full sizes, so I went with the 11. They're a little big, but a pair of thick socks or insoles will take care of that. I'm so excited for the weather to get colder to break out the fall dresses and leggings to wear with these boots!
