Inspired by the ultimate Hamburg Chelsea boot, as seen on The Beatles in the early years, or when Dylan went electric, John wanted to recreate the timeless rock'n'roll boot in The Cairo. Made in Vietnam using glossy Italian leathers, partial blake construction on the the unisex Gateway last with an almond toeshape, leather soles, and a 2" stacked leather Cuban heel, one could almost hear the warm, fuzzy buzz of the Vox AC30.

A smidge narrow, but not enough to go the next half size up.

I love these so much I bought them in the tan and black! I'd recommend going a half size up. I purchased my first pair in size 9, which I normally wear, but tried on 9.5 for my second pair and they were way more comfortable than the nines.
I get compliments all the time - they're gorgeous.

Another great pair of boots
Saw them online, went and tried them on, wore them out of the store. They're beautiful, versatile, walkable. Could use a tad of padding under the ball of the foot and a little arch support, but a wonderful fit for my narrow feet. And like other vogs, they have a quiet heel - no click-clacking when going at a fast clip up the sidewalks.

These were on (serious) sale at Amazon.com, so I didn't get a chance to experience the legendary customer service at Fluevog stores. However, I'm so happy with these shoes that I just might pay a visit to their Wicker Park branch.
I'm usually a true women's 9.5 but, after reading the reviews, ordered a half-size up because these boots apparently run a tad narrow. I'm so glad I did. The 10 fits perfectly, even though my foot is just a tad on the wide side (wide enough to be uncomfortable in most designer shoes but never wide enough to order the W width). The toe box is very roomy and the heel is just the right height: not too tall, but tall enough to get me to 6'0" (win!). The inside is roomy enough for a moderately thick sock (not wool but maybe a substantial cotton one, absolutely necessary for the colder months).
And the shoe! The shoe! It's beautiful and well-made and the leather is buttery and just gorgeous. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the Cairo looks and feels its price. Best purchase ever. Fluevog convert 100%.

These are beautiful boots! The Chelsea boot, the hottest boot of the season, impecably executed in gorgeous buttery leather. This classic style will be worn for years to come. I am usually a 7 in fluevogs, and have pretty narrow feet, but still had to go half a size up to 7.5, and they fit perfectly.
