F is for all things Hope. (F est pour tout ce qui est espoir).
Ali from our New York store says:
The Cheerful has a great heel height and a nice spacious toe box. The round toe box makes it a bit short, so we see some people go up a half size.

these are my first vogs--i bought the tan pair. first, the technical stuff. they do fit a bit small. i wear a 10 in regular shoes. i bought an 11 in these and could have easily gotten an 11.5. but the breaking in time is nil and they are comfortable enough to sleep in. somehow, they actually go with EVERYTHING in my closet. i Love, love, love them. at first, i thought they were really funny looking and of all the other fantabulous shoes in the store, these were the last i'd choose. but, i tried them on and VOILA! they were perfect--ridiculously cute. and whenever i wear them--complements galore! thanks to amber and katherine in DC--y'all rock. and special shout to misty in seattle for the intro to Vog World. i'm officially smitten and i'll be getting my THIRD pair of vogs out of hock soon.

going to wear these blue suede shoes in the fall too
so much cuter in real time.. a bit high on the ankle bone, however my bet is that suede will loosen pretty quick. went up 1/2 size.. perfect fit otherwise. Smart looking shoes with edge. Delivery time was the full two weeks and it's a hard wait!

Sunshine for my Feet <3
These are my second vogs. I bought them in tan just before the beginning of summer, and they put a spring in my step every time I slip them on. For a gal who wears mainly blacks, shades of grey and burgundy, trying these on was completely out of my comfort zone, but I just couldn't help how I felt in them. I rarely wear heels because of orthotics and other feet issues. John has changed that all for me, thank god! I had to go up a full size because of my long middle toes (got these in a 9 but am a true size 8). Complete strangers on the street drop compliments about my fabulous shoes, and surprisingly men too - it just floored me! I've never had that happen to me before. Keep up the great work JF! I love your shoes!

Got these today - and instant LOVE! They fit perfectly - and unlike most of my other 'Vogs - no break-in period needed. These are AWESOMELY comfortable and sensible :) But still cute. I may have to get another pair of these in a different color - please make more!!!

Okay, I happened to be on a business trip in Vancouver when they had their Sample Sale at the Granville Store ... although these were not on sale, I couldn't resist! They are the perfect heel height for me! Now .... I wore INSENSIBLE shoes while in Vancouver (NOT Vogs) and have a heel blister, so I've yet to wear them ... can't wait!!!!! Got a size 6.5 which runs pretty true to my usual shoe size.

Super duper comfy
I had to get the blue ones. They are so comfortable, no time at all for breaking in. I had to go up a size and a half from my usual. I've worn them twice now, and I get a ton of compliments. The heel is really solid. These shoes are fabulous!

Promise in blue and Cheerful in tan were my top priorities for spring and I am beyond thrilled with each. The stitching, cut-outs and blue soles of the Cheerful make a neutral tan shoe just a bit more lively and with the sole of the Hope family I knew they'd be comfortable straight away; even with the slight heel they will be an excellent walking shoe. I am between a 7.5 and 8 and got the 8, which works great with tights and thin-medium socks. This is a fitted shoe but has a wide toebox and an 8 always seems best in this type of style.

I just recently bought these in aqua in the Boston store, before they were available on the website. I have to say first that the Boston store staff kicks major butt, and Rachel in particular is fabulous.
These shoes are SO much cuter in person. Some shoes you see online and think "meh" and then you see them in person and your opinion creeps up, and then you try them on and suddenly you're in love. These are those shoes.
They run true to size for me - I'm typically a 7.5 in Fluevog and that's what I bought. Perfect fit. The heel is very comfy, and while the leather is a little stiff on my ankles, they're already beginning to soften up. Rachel tried a couple of different colors of shoelaces with these - very fun to change the look up a bit. They look great with dark jeans, they're cute, they're retro without being twee, and they're comfy.
