Lansky
[Dark Blue]
Inspired to reinvent The Executors family from Fluevog past,
John created The Lansky for Gentlemen, using classic patterns that highlight the shape of the refined last built
upon a leather sole. The Lansky features Spanish patent
leathers that glow with a metallic sheen, and promises to
dazzle all of your clients, including the Sicilian ones.
Chad from our Vancouver (Gastown) store says:
The Lansky fits true to size for most people. It could be a little narrow for some.

Versatile Elegance
All those years ago I kicked myself for not getting the Executor Luciano's in blue but now patent Fluevogs are back!
The shoe is very classy and feels like a more rounded(less pointy) version of the Luciano's. The stitching detail does not constrict the foot and is a natural stress reliever in the leather. Be warned the first time one wears the shoe out make sure you break in the sole by scrubbing some concrete to create traction. These shoes are slippery without doing so. Also, keep it a short trip because it takes some time for the stiffer leather to adapt to your foot. I would recommend getting a "Topy" (half-sole made of rubber) from your local shoe repair. Its pretty inexpensive. A leather sole will break down quite quickly with rain.
Highly recommended for people who love a sturdy shoe with a hard sole.
Cool Enough for the Rat Pack!
This gorgeous and highly comfortable dress shoe is just simply so stylish it's almost criminal. The patent leather, which has a lovely pebbled surface, throws the light beautifully. Perfect with a pair of jeans and blazer for a dressed down look; but you can easily dress these up with a suit or tuxedo. I found that these fit very true to size, with my Men's 8 fitting like a glove! As always, the crew at Fluevog Boston were incredibly friendly and helpful. Jessamy, Pete, Rachel, and all the other members of the Boston crew are part of the reason I keep coming back. That, and the fact that NOBODY makes better shoes than John! Thanks for making my 20th pair special!
Keep the genius coming! :-D ]:o) :-{
