As King Solomon once said, "Wisdom calls aloud in the street, she raises her voice in the public squares." Whether found in street preachings or in the solitude of meditation, true wisdom is a deep understanding of the best use of knowledge and realization of the value of life. We can only hope that wisdom is contagious and only used for the benefit of global improvements (and more ice-cream).
The Wisdoms feature slightly waxy Bottero leathers that age nicely if left alone, or can be renewed by buffing for a eye-catching shine. John designed the Wisdom with a partial-blake construction on a low profile rubber sole, painted stacked leather heels, rubber heel lifts, and a sleek updated square toe for a little Fluevog flair and foundation for every solid Fluevog character.
Sound values make the man.
Shawn and Catherine from our Washington DC store says:
The Wisdoms are a sharp men's shoe that fits true to size; they're fantastic for average width feet.

I got these shoes last summer as I needed a dressy pair of black shoes. They did not disappoint at all. These are beautiful shoes that will last a long time. Style is classic, without being old, leather is rich, soles are sturdy. All around great.

Comfy and stylish
I agree with the other reviewer. These do look much more stylish than they appear here, and have become my go-to travel shoe. They work just as well with jeans and as they do with suits. And I get a lot of complements on them.

Very, very nice
I bought these a few weeks ago and I am very happy with them. They are super-comfortable and way more stylish than the pics suggest. The sales person was right when she said "some of his shoes you just have to see them on to get them". In my first few days of wearing them at my humdrum office job I had a half dozen compliments on them...understated but with enough of an edge to get noticed.
I was planning to pick up a pair of the twin turbines but they were a bit narrow...these are just right.
