My first pair of Fluevogs and I am in love! My Amanda's were comfy from day one and I wore them to work!! Was worried as they seemed quite narrow but are breaking in beautifully.Lots of compliments on them as they are a tad different to the general flats you see. The Adrian Amandas in black, grey and purple are my sixth pair of 'vogs and my second in the Adrian family (I also own the Agnes in fire engine red). I had to get the Agnes in a size 8, but I got the Amandas in true-to-size 7. I have AAA narrow feet and these are so far fitting like a glove. Perfect. the "purple" is more of a light pink, which is fine for me. I bought them to "replace" my irreplaceable Angel Ivans which after c. 10 years of near constant wear for every day and casual have had to be put out to pasture. :*( I hope that the Amandas work out just as well...

Found in Europe

I love John Fluevog shoes and have been eyeing the Amandas for some time, but as I live in Europe it´s a kind of difficult/expensive to arrange them. Some time ago I discovered them at European online seller www.raspberryheels.com and gave it a trial. I was rather impressed with the service, shipping and help concerning the sizing so I will be repeating customer for this seller in foreseeable future (so many other Vogs to buy). About the size: I am typically 36 EU but based on the reviews I bought size 7. I am glad I did as this model is a narrow one. However, after few hours wearing them at home they are perfect fit and feel like gloves. Comfortably constructed and so beautiful! Be aware that the colors are a slightly different from the photos. I have the black and white combination, but it seems more like dark and light grey. I do not mind though, in fact it is more intriguing. Oh, and as recommend by other customers I too will use some colored shoe laces (maybe pink?).

I couldn't LOVE my first pair of Fluevogs more. It's impossible. They fit perfectly (after reading lots of reviews, I got a half size bigger than my normal), are soooo comfortable from day one, and are just me to a tee! Thank-you for helping me express myself in the world of shoedom! :-D

True Love.

I found these incredible shoes at the Chicago store and bought them in the black/grey/purple (which I see more as a bluish, smokey pink, gorgeous whatever you call it!). At first they feel a bit snug in the toe bed, but after the notorious breaking in, by wearing thicker socks and gradually going thinner, they now fit like a glove. I have bunions beginning and was worried about the squeeze but in the past six months the leather has formed beautifully around my feet I can wear them walking around all day (with or without socks) while staying comfortable and gathering repeated compliments from strangers of all kinds. The tabs behind the ankles prevent the back from digging into your heels which is genius! They look great with shorts (which is tough to do for an oxford), capris, jeans and pants; they easily make a casual outfit just a bit more attractive and unusual. It's a very classic style with a funky twist. I love them so much I am considering the Heidi boots too.

These fit crazy small. I got the 11, the same size I have Logans, Stacies, Berlins, Grand Nationals... in, but even getting my foot into the Amanda was a struggle. I'm heartbroken and disappointed.

For my ninth pair of 'vogs I really wanted desperately to have a pair that was unlike anything else I have. I decided it was time to go 'shoes' and not 'boots' and when I saw these i thought this is it- causal, dressy, cute, goes with skirts, jeans, whatever- but they are nothing like the photos show. The pictures make them look like they have a very cute and girlish round toe but it is very very almond-like in shape, and in this manner they have man's shoe written all over them. They don't look like a woman's shoe at all, and the shoes here: http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w%5B0%5D=gender%3Awomen&w%5B1%5D=attribute%3AShoe&p=22&pp=2&view=detail&colourID=3264 ...are far, far, far more like what these shoes really look like, which is in no way what i wanted :'( As well they hurt like murder on my heels and it could be ages before I can wear them again if i even end up trying. so very sad, I waited in desperate anticipation for over 6 devastatingly long weeks for these to arrive from overseas and they're in no way what i was expecting. First fluevog letdown, ever.

O how I lusted after these black and brown lovelies since I bought the I Believe High Simons in black last year...a hard decision, like choosing between two babies. The Fluevogees at the SF store were so kind to send these to my work so I could lust after them all day and prolong my anticipation!! Size-wize my 81/2 Simons are roomier (they have a box toe though compared to Amanda). I like to wear insoles and the 81/2 Amanda is way more fitted so prob no insoles - or I send them back and size up to a 9... These will be great w/my black jeans, yum. Thanks & Love

These beauties arrived today. Portland store, THAT'S what I'm talking about! The shoes came beautifully packed and wrapped, with a love note, button, sticker, and shoe bag. That "No, You're Weird" sticker will be the first I deem cool enough to put on my bicycle. I haven't tried these on yet, because they're so pretty and I just want to look at them. Even though I bought a size 11, based on reviews, they look like they'll make my feet appear smaller. More Fluevog magic!
