Bellevues: Belle Star
In 1864, Missouri teenager Maybelle (age 16) and her family (descendants of the notorious Hatfields) fled their hometown for Texas, avoiding the approaching Union soldiers. While in Texas, Belle became friends with a renegade group of fellow Confederate Missourians, including Jesse James and his gang. Belle's first husband was a stagecoach robber, bringing Belle along for the adventure, resulting in his gruesome death. Running from the law, Belle married into the Starr clan, a Cherokee Indian family notorious for whiskey, cattle, and horse thievery, and learned their rustling ways until she was found guilty of horse theft and served nine months at the Detroit House of Corrections. Legend has it, the outlaw queen inspired fashion of the day with her strong sense of style - riding sidesaddle while dressed in a black velvet riding cape and a plumed hat, carrying two pistols with cartridge belts across her hips. Two days before her 41st birthday, she was ambushed riding home from a neighbour's house and shot several times in an act of vengeance. No one was ever found guilty of her murder, and supposedly her ghost still rides at dusk in the Oklahoma plains.
Using soft, pebbled, vegetable-tanned leathers with diamond patterned laser cutouts, matching ribbons with weighted silver tips, on a 2.5" Fellowship-hi heel and tunite Bellevue sole, this open-toed slingback is sure to make you "wanted" in all 48 states and 13 provinces & territories.

I bought these shoes in the brown yesterday. I saw them on-line and loved them so I high tailed it to the Queen St. store in Toronto. I tried them and and fell in love. They are comfy and stylish. Love the ribbon tie. I am a size 9 in most shoes but tend to take a 9.5 in Fluevogs. All I need is a warm day and I'll slip into them pronto. Can't wait.

Stylish and Comfortable
I have a wide foot and struggle with finding heels that are cute and comfortable.
John hit a home run again!
The supple leather gives to the curves of your foot. The flexible heel strap give for movement and the perfect heel hight for an all day wear.
I am a 7.5. Usually get an 8, but in these I got the 7.5.

Was given these babies in brown as a gift. It's the thought that counts, and that was one awesome thought! They fit true to size and the leather is very soft. Can't wait until it warms up and stops raining so I can wear these outside of my apartment. ]:o)

I ordered these in Aqua but they sent me coral by mistake. I finally got the Aqua ones today & they fit perfect I'm an 8.5 or 9 and I ordered the 9, so pretty I can't wait for Spring! I think I'm over 30 pairs of Fluevogs now over 20+ years, yay!

Oh sweet goodness of awesome.
Why do I have to live in Colorado where there is still slush and snow? These lovelies arrived today and I can't seem to take them off. As usual they came right out of the box fitting like they were made for me. I wear an 8.5 and these are right on target, they feel really good on and are not rubbing or pinching like some peep toes can. I got the aqua and they are stunning! Please please let the sun shine in Denver so that I can wear these out & about!
