When strutting down the cobblestone alleys of London's Soho, you find yourself awash with compliments about your smart zip-up Fluevog shoes... "cheers!" you reply. Combining soft luxurious leathers with textured patterned leathers, the Cheers! is an edgy shoe that completes many chic outfits. Although made with the same comfortable and walkable rubber Wearever sole, the Cheers! features bronze hardware and a thicker, angular 2" heel that gives it its ace appeal. Fit can be customized by adjusting the zipper and wearing them half zipped.

I have been coveting these shoes for a long time, so when they went on sale I had to have them.
Going by the previous reviews, I ordered a full size larger than my non-Fluevog size because I wanted to be able to wear thin socks with them.
So they arrived and much to my astonishment, fit my feet perfectly.
Which means, they will be too tight with the socks I wanted to wear with them.
Even so, though, I can zip up only the right one halfway. The left just isn't going there. Or more accurately, it will go there, but it won't stay there. Which makes me sad because I like the half-zipped look.
So these shoes are cuter than crap but the design/fit leaves a little to be desired. Well actually more than a little.

The style is perfect, perfect, perfect for my go-to every day shoes. I ordered my usual size 9's, which have fit in my four other pair of Fluevog lovelies (I'm between an 8-1/2 and a 9 in "heathen" shoes).
I felt like a Cinderella step-sister trying to cram my feet into this shoe. The toe box is short because of the angle of the cut of the front of the shoe, and they are very tight across the base of my toes. I didn't even try to zip them up. I'm considering going for a larger size, but I'm afraid these are cut for an entirely different foot (or species!). These are going back. Rats.

I tried them on last Christmas but figured I didn't really need another pair of black shoes, so others kept getting bought but I never quite forgot the Cheers and finally bought them yesterday, and I'm really pleased with both the comfort and the style. I'm generally a 7.5 to 8 in most Fluevogs and the 8 was perfect, though the zipper only goes half-way and oddly, it looks cuter that way. I expect some stretching once I've worn them a bit.

Against All Odds.....
Desperately seeking lilac shoes...saw these on sale page and took a big chance. These should never have fit my feet...duck feet, high instep, toe problems, narrowish-ankle. As I opened the box I thought "Well, at least I can get a store credit.." Surprise..they fit absolutely perfectly! 1/2 size up and there was plenty of toe room, and narrow enough in the ankle to prevent slippage without being tight. They look better on my foot than the picture leads you to think. I wear them unzipped ..and they don't look like I forgot to finish dressing. These are "dressy" enough to wear with...a dress...without being fussy. The heel is really stable and I can actually stand/walk in these for hours. A Gem of a shoe!

fabulous shoes; go up a size
Do not buy or wear these, or most Fluevogs for that matter, if you do not want to stand out, and if you do not have time to graciously acknowledge the many compliments that you are sure to receive when you wear them. These are beautifully made, and look great with a variety of outfits. My feet are medium width, not especially wide or high-volume, but I had to go up a full size in this style. The toebox slants a lot, in a way that most people's feet do NOT slant. As Fluevogs go, these shoes are not wild or flamboyant, but people will stop you in the street, at your workplace, and in markets to admire your shoes and ask where they, too, can acquire such style and beauty.

Loving the Lilac!
These shoes are so cute! I have too many pairs of vogs to count (or I'm just scared to!) and these are going to be one of my favorites with jeans. I have wide feet and a high instep so I'll be wearing them unzipped or half zipped and they look super and are very comfy.

My husband has become accustomed to hearing me say 'wait! I have to check the Fluevog site to see what's on sale!' every time he goes to Vancouver for work. Which, thankfully, is often. Last week's trip fetched me these fabulously funky Fluevogs (which are, in fact, more lilac than pink). The left one fits like a dream. The right is a bit snug with the zip pulled all the way up but I have hope that it will stretch out the tiny bit needed to make it just as comfy as the other. I'm very glad I took the advice of others and ordered a half-size up, making my usual 8 an 8.5. Much more sultry than the black (in my humble opinion), this shoe shyly whispers 'girly' as you comfortably stroll by those poor delusional gals tottering about in stillettos, trying to scream 'sexy' whist remaining upright. *sigh* I could wear these all day...and all night...and all day...and...well, you get the picture. A lovely addition to my ever-growing collection of 'vogs.

Thank you Fluevog Boston!
These seem to run a bit narrow, but once I got the right size these are awesome! For a non-heel wearer these feel soo comfy! I cannot wait to wear these for a full day!! Definitely more Lavender than pink, but sooo cute!! Thank you John Fluevog, I think your shoes are cool!
