high time
I've worn black Gibson swirls for more than 10 years, and my old pair, re-soled twice, was about to give up the ghost. Just made it in time. Please keep 'em in stock forever, my style depends on it. Not that I don't love the red ones I got too. Fluevogs are just like nothing else.

I love my Angel Gibson Swirls -- these have been my "daily drivers" for the past 10 years. My first two pairs were black -- my third pair might need to be the burgundy rub off... :D Thank you so much for keeping these as part of the general catalog!

I bought a pair of the black ones in 1993, and they have been my favorite shoe since. I also have the rub-offs, which rock! I was so upset when i went to buy another pair of the black ones and they were no longer available. God bless you, John for bringing the black swirls back; I ordered them the first day I saw they were available again and am voggin' them today!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for bringing this shoe back. I bought one of the remaining pairs in the summer and I haven't worn it yet - for fear it would be the last pair. Please don't ever take it away again - it is the best around.

Great shoe
I'm still wearing the same pair of these that I bought at least 6 years ago. They are extremely durable, comfortable and cool. The burgundy colour ages quite nicely.

I absolutely ADORE these shoes. I've worn and loved many different styles of Fluevogs for about 8 years--and will continue to do so as long as both Fluevogs and I are on this earth--but Angels are most often my go-to shoe because they are so comfortable and they can be worn with just about anything to go just about anywhere.
However, as cool as the red ones are, I must ask: WHY are you discontinuing this style in black? My pair is in desperate need of replacement, and I was despondent when I saw that wasn't going to happen...
