Prepare Hi |
Who says hiking boots only belong on the trail? This new member of The Prepare Hi Family rocks the look of a hiking boot, and with a 4" curved heel and 1" platform, boosts you high enough to see the view (without having to break a sweat). The Summit brings the rugged outdoors to you with a rubber treaded sole contrasted with stylish soft Portuguese Nappa leather and durable waxed suede. Detailed with a cushy, padded collar, they're the perfect compliment to plaid and bearded men. Prepare to Rise Up.

We love this fit! Wide or narrow, it doesn't matter, everyone can wear this bootie!

Owned since Fall, No Regrets! LOVE THEM!
I bought these at full price last fall and LOVE THEM. Wear them all the time without hesitation, spend entire day in them or evening out. I have literally no problem walking in them and don't run risk of rolling my ankle or toppling. I find them completely comfortable and so beautiful. It's highway robbery their sale price right now and I cannot believe they have most of the sizes left...Total steal Ladies, and they were worth at full price!!

Adorable, but not for me.....
I purchased these adorable booties from the Boston store. Fantastic assistance in this purchase of the blue color. True to size, 8.5. Unfortunately they didn't work for me. They fit nicely but I had some serious problems walking comfortably. I totally felt like Lady Gaga. I would recommend this style only because it's so cute. Sadly, had to return them.

Have to return :(
Sadly, these have to go back. I really REALLY wanted to love them. I happily have 3 guides and one prepare hi boot already. Thought these would be a perfect addition to my obsessive collection. They are unstabley high and a bit snug for me. The color and style are amazing however. Sniff sniff....

These are comfortable the same way other Prepares are. I got the taupe ones and they are just like they look in the picture. The leather that the tongue and toe are made of is very soft and the leather cushioning around the top back of the ankle is comfortable. My feet measure 9 5/8" exactly, but because I've never had much luck with size 7 shoes I ordered a 7.5 and they fit just right. My toes would have hit the front on size 7. The right one fit perfectly but the left, where the seam of the two leathers meet by the pinky toe put some pressure, so I used a ball ring stretcher to stretch it out.
I also was able to put some inserts in them (they're fine on their own, but I require cushion and lots of comfort from footwear).
These are very high quality, very comfortable, stable when walking, don't make a lot of noise (soft soles), and I feel terribly sexy and in command in these babies.

fabulous fun boots
I tried these on in Boston, and they were just simply fun. Great color, great look, great feel. And the added height was just gravy. So when I was ready to buy (ordered online), I knew exactly what I'd be getting. Jessamy in Boston: Thank you - you were patient, thoughtful and very nice. Anyhow, the day they arrived, I wore them to work - I couldn't wait.. Lots of comments, plenty of compliments. I love these shoes.

The best yet!
After waiting like what seemed forever for these to go on sale I snatched up a pair of the blue ones.
Oh my goodness! Completely adorable!
And more importantly, it doesn't feel like you're wearing 3" heels, they're stable, comfortable, and reassuring for someone who usually wears "five-fingers".
I have a wide foot and these don't feel too narrow like a lot of shoes do for me. So I'm guessing they're a nice medium width. And they make my feet look so slim!
These will be my go to shoe for the rest of the winter!

totally adore these bad boys
The Prepare family has always caught my eye, but the Summit is the first pair from the family that I've bought. The lace-up style makes them hella comfortable, and the tomboyish style looks fabulous with jeans or dresses. LOVE.

Super comfy boots!
Tania manager in the Calgary store knows my likes and she nailed it with these Prepare Hi Summit's. These are so comfy, easy to march around in and very stable. I went down by a 1/2 size compared to normal shoe sizing. These will be a fall favourite for sure! Thank you Tania!

Vog Hog Heaven
Everything you like about the prepare family and any thing you didn't like has been perfected in this boot. Pure comfort; walking art! Leah and Willy usually take care of us in Seattle but we were in Portland and nonchalantly went to fluevog to check out the sale shoes not expecting to see anything new as we had just viewed the website afterall. My daughter tried on the brown ones and without hesitation said I'm having these her first in this family. I tried on the blue ones and there was no holding back.I had to have them. There is plenty of room in the toe box to wiggle your toes and accomadates a wider foot the leather detail at the ankle adds support. Andrea was amazing! She seemlessly took care of all our needs.

Never taking them off
Today, my fabulous fiance stopped on the way home from work and brought me these glorious boots (thank you, Chicago store Vog'rs!) in blue. These are my fourth pair of Prepare-HIs--don't tell the others, but these are my favorite. The 7s fit my 9 5/8 inch foot perfectly, and they are the most comfortable heels you can imagine--the soles are stuffed with cork, so they are cushy and quiet. I think I could walk in them all day--I have done so for most of a day with no footly complaints. I will be rocking these into autumn with skinny jeans, corduroy minis, and long swirly girly skirts, laughing at the Chicago cold and kicking up my beautifully Vog'd feet. Thank you, John, for answering my prayers for this last in a boot--I am forever in your debt.
