Wonderful surprise

These were officially my 3rd pair of Fluevogs. My wonderful husband picked these out for me as a Christmas present along with my 4th pair of 'vogs the Mini QTees. I have been stalking the Fluevog website ever since I discovered you in Sptember 2012 and had just casually looked at these passing them over for the more funky boots. I'm SO happy my husband picked these out. I love love love them. I had knee surgery in January and I was back in these boots 1 week post surgery! They fit great and make me feel I'm wearing high fashion boots with a little cowgirl edge. Thank you Fluevog for satisfying my addiction, again!

Sexy, but snug

Best colour ever! Great design! I have never been able to wear them, as they are either very narrow or I have chubby calves! I'm sure I can get the leather stretched and eventually enjoy these gorgeous creatures :)

Quality is not as expected

I'll start of by saying when I first received these, I LOVED them! The color (brown) is amazing, the slim fit is perfect, and they're quite comfortable. I normally wear 8.5 in Fluevogs- got these in a 9; perfect fit. However, after the 4th wear, the seam along the back started to come undone. I'm sorry, but for the price, this is extremely disappointing. It's not like I can return them at this point. What a downer. Is Fluevog's quality slipping? Certainly their prices are not.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I've been "eyesing" them since I spotted them first online and then in-person in the Vancouver store. The tall shaft, lux leather and divinely purple color, I knew they had to be mine. I treated myself to them for my Feb birthday and it was the BEST gift EVER! I tried on both the 9 and 10 (I usually wear a 9 or 9.5). The 9 was a little difficult to get on and the 10 was a bit loose. The saleswoman suggested that if I could get on the 9 then go with those and it was a good choice. Although they are a bit narrow in the instep, they get a bit looser with every wear (and boy do I wear them). Last night I walked through Washington Square Park to the next subway station because I loved the feel of the boots against the sidewalk. They are awesome. ()-)

After looking at these boots for a year, they were finally mine!! After not finding my size at the Granville store, [a little worried I had stared at them for too long!] the very helpful salesperson found them at the Gastown store. Yaa!! When I first put them on, I found them to be a bit snug in the ankle. But after the salesperson stretched them out they were fine. And after a whole day of walking in them, they are now perfect. A bit hard to get on because of the strap but you can take it off. They now sit proudly by my other three pairs of Fluevog boots.

Stunning

I have a serious boot fetish. My boyfriend and I LOVE Fluevog and he is wonderful about satisfying my Fluevog and Boot love over and over. I adored these boots immediately, he thought they were boring but bought them for me in black. These are my favorite shoes of all time....understated but cool at every angle. They hug your leg all the way up....and the leather is amazing. Every time I wear these boots, they get more gorgeous. I get compliments everywhere I go and always feel like a million bucks. WARNING: These are a pain to get on if you keep the strap in place, but if they weren't, they wouldn't look and feel like your second skin. Do not hesitate to spend the dollars on theses you can feel, smell and see where the money went. So yummy. I wear a 8 1/2 in normal shoes...the nine in those are perfect. Seriously, I own lots of Fluevogs but these will never be displaced as my number one.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

And did I mention love? Although my black Bondgirls are my go-to winter boot, as soon as I saw these Lunas online I knew I must possess them. My fave Ariat cowgirl boots were just starting to bite the dust, so I could justify the "NEED" for (ahem) yet another pair of boots. ESPECIALLY these versatile babys, in brown. They look great under bootcuts, over skinnys, with skirts, with nothing at all... ;) And the removeable ankle harness allows you to mix the look up, like multiple personality boots! They're a little bit country, little bit rock n roll, little pirate, little mod...Love em. Many non-lacing boots tend to look chunky on my legs (12 1/2" calves, 7 1/2" ankles) so I LOVE the slim fit & narrow ankle on these- very flattering fit for the thinner-legged among us. I'm a 7 to 7 1/2, and really considered sizing up to 8 after reading reviews. So glad I stuck with a 7- they fit perfectly. And despite the narrower-than-I-usually-buy foot and toe box, the arches are good & I still have comfy wiggle room in the toe! HOW? The ankle IS tight to squeeze my high arched feet into, and the seam of the heel cup at ankle DOES take some breaking in to get comfy, but it's loosening up. Note that the brown is much lighter than pictured ("fawn" is indeed a more accurate description) but the leather is just gorgeous & you can tell it will age & crease & darken with a beautiful patina over time.

the BEST

these boots are AMAZING - they're exactly what I would have tried to dream up myself in terms of what the perfect boot would be, and i'm super picky. they look especially awesome on tall ladies, i must say :) anyway, i lovvvve them. i sleep with them on. okay, no i don't, but i would if that weren't uncomfortable and weird. i'm surprised i haven't named them. they are such good quality (i've had them for a year and they're like new), and i get so many compliments on them and unfortunately am arousing jealousy around these parts, but also bringing fame to the name fluevog. i feel like a million bucks prancing around in these bad boys - they're the perfect mix of casual and shnazzy - they work with a lot of different styles (i have the brown ones). oh, and if you're a half size, go bigger, not smaller.

Zipper Problems

I've had these for about 9 months now. They are beautiful. I love them. They are very comfortable once they break in (give them a couple of weeks, especially through the ankle). BUT- I have had to bring them back for zipper repair twice already. The great thing about these boots is that they fit like a glove, but the zipper doesn't seem to be up to the strain. I'm a bit disappointed- of course they've been fixed free, but I've never had a pair of Fluevogs that didn't last and last before.

I didn't think they could get any better

OK...ordered this gorgeous boot one year ago (actually, a Christmas present from my man)...arrived and I was in love (I'm normally a 9.5, but the 10 was the ticket. I've worn this pair of boots for a year now, and the boots look like new (have to admit, tho, I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to caring for my footwear). Then...two nights ago...THE PURPLE arrived as a pre-Christmas gift (from my wonderful man again). I can't believe how gorgeous they are...even better than the black. They fit perfectly! Today, I have worn them to work...many women salivating over their splendidnous (I just made that word up I think). Thanks to Fleuvog elves, and to John. I feel a bit badly, tho...my other shoes and boots are taking second fiddle to these babies!
