Using soft luxurious suedes or Atlas leathers, The Dalu is a sharper, edgier interpretation of The Wearever Family. Although they're made with the same comfortable and walkable rubber Wearever sole, The Dalu features a thicker, angular 2" heel that give it its innovative look. With an elastic and pull-tab for perfect fit, the slip-on Dalu is the ideal Fall chelsea boot for both pants and dresses. Wherever you go, give thanks.

The width for this shoe feels true, however it runs a tad bit short.

I had pretty much overlooked the Dalu when they first came out, preferring the colorful purple Nuni and green Chapot, but as always, in a pinch when I need a boot with a bit of a heel but that is also insanely comfortable, Fluevog always has a wallflower just waiting to be discovered by me. The style is simple but classy, and I just wore them for a day of walking and they felt like slippers, so they get to go on vacation with me to Estonia, as back-up to my cherished Coventry boots. I almost went for the 8.5 but after a chat with Monika at Haight we decided 8 would do--and it did. I'm generally a 7.5 to 8 in my other Fluevogs.

ive never written a review for anything but these boots are like magic. they are even more comfortable than my flat boots and shoes. I don't think I could buy another brand of shoes again.

My favorite everyday shoe
I love these. Love them. I was looking for something with a bit of a heel (I'm 5'2") that wouldn't feel like I was wearing "heels". They are now my go-to shoe for work and for cavorting around town. I also have rather difficult-to-fit feet, and the toe box is roomy enough that nothing pinches (a problem in lesser shoes).

?:-) I was excited to discover a newer version of the Wearever Danke in this boot, but with a bit of a cooler edge, thicker leather, and an even more comfortable heel! I had to wait for my size to arrive...I am usually a 9 or 40, but a 9.5 in Fluevog. It turned out that the 10 was actually a better fit. They are going to work out well for me I think. My only issue is that the outer edges are sloped from the toe and kind of cut into my 4 other toes. Trying like crazy to stretch it out, then they will be my idea boot! Hope it works....at 330 bucks, I will make it work!!!

Oh my, I call these the sneaker shoe. Just because I can actually run in these and I'm pretty up there in age, LOL. I got these in a brown suede size 10.5 where I'm usually a 9. The heel on these is perfect. They do not feel like they have a heel. They come with those awesome soles. These are truly my soul mate. ,->

Great look and comfy! They run small.
I was looking for a great boot and these had a little higher heel that I had wanted. I'm so glad I tried them anyway! These fit so perfectly as soon as I put them on. They're comfortable and look great with anything. Yes, ORDER A HALF TO FULL SIZE UP! I'm a solid 8 in almost every Fluevog style I have (and I have a lot). But, I am a 9 in this style, which is perfect with a sock.

Stylish and ridiculously comfy!!!
I've been a Fluevog fan since the early 90's when I bought my first pair at the Vancouver store. They're the most interesting, well-made footwear going and I have never regretted the purchase of any of my 25 or so pairs (yeah, 25). These ones are no different! In fact they're so amazing that I felt compelled to write my first review. Not only have I received compliments from every single woman in my office, these are by far the most comfortable boots EVER! I feel like I could run a marathon in them, or at least be on the run all day long and into the evening. My usual size (6.5) is perfect and my wide feet aren't squeezed or at all unhappy - they're so great I want the brown ones now too!!! Thank you JF!!

I ordered these on line in a 10.5. I am usually a10. They came a couple days later in a size 10 and were too small. I had to go Down to the Granville store and exchange for a size 11. After the hassle of going down to the store I still had to pay the 16.00 delivery charge. Anyways...
The shoes are beautiful and very comfy. The leather is soft and good quality. Next time I will just go down to the Granville store and shop around. They have a fab selection.
