True to size, soft leather that shapes to foot over time.

Not what I expected
I got a purple one and it's very pretty.
I have wider feet, and this shoes was little tight for me. From the photo, it looks like it's wider shoes. I wanted a wider look (chunky look) but I'm little sad about this.
This shoes, definately looks better with little warn out look.

I caved in to temptation to buy the purple suede version, and I've hardly taken them off since! They're amazingly comfortable-- I took them out for a good walk the day they arrived, and had nary a hot spot to speak of. (I'm generally a 6 to 6.5 with a pretty slim foot, and the 6 fits like a charm.)

I bought both the brown and black BBCs when they first came out and they just didn't do it for me. But I never stopped liking the look of them and finally decided to give them another try, this time in purple suede and they are fabulous. The rubber sole makes a big difference, and a size 8 fit me perfectly right out of the box for a long day of walking, my ultimate test. I'm generally a 7.5 to 8, always an 8 in boots.

Les lacets sont trop courts!
À part çaa, les bottes sont certainement bonnes pour quelques décades (mon désir). Elles sont magnifiques.
Ma fille, 10 ans, les qualifie de "Nanny McPhee boots!"

they just make me happy
Bought the purple BBCs a few weeks ago in a size 8, should have bought a 9 because they do fit very slim through the foot bed. Sadly/luckily, my suede ripped and when I brought them back to the store, they told me they couldn't be repaired, but since it was within the eight-month warranty period, they just gave me a new pair. This time in a 9!
Anyway, I love them, I love that they're suede and I can brush off any dried dirt, and I love the way the YYC store treated me. You really should get a pair.

Style AND comfort have always come to mind when thinking of Fluevog shoes. This is my 4th pair and although the size is perfect, including the width, they are painful to wear for more than an hour or so. There is no cushion in the soles at all, so no big surprise I suppose. Really disappointed. :-(

Love the boots
but is it common for the rubber on the sole to wear thin or tear? What do you do with it?

Not gonna lie, I have wide feet. But I just... I just could not resist. They are my first Fluevogs, and I tried really, really hard to wear them and like them but they were just too painful to wear.
I finally gave in after a few blister-filled months and had them stretched out by a professional. So. Worth. It. Now all my other shoes are jealous, since I pretty much wear only these shoes throughout the fall, going strong for almost 3 years now. Will never give them up.
I bought these almost immediately after they showed up (I think over 2 years by now). I've been wearing them almost constantly and they're still going strong, though I've replaced the heel caps 3x and the stacked leather heel once -- I walk too much! I wear them working in the yard, riding my motorcycle. . . everywhere. They fit my narrow-ish feet really well.
The product photos don't do these boots justice, especially for smaller women's sizes. . . it looks goofy here!
