Rubens était un peintre flamand baroque prolifique. Ses peintures, bien des siècles avant celles de R.Crumb, mettaient l'emphase sur l'érotisme et la sensualité des femmes avec un surplus de poids. Rubenesque, est une expression toujours utilisée de nos jours afin de décrire affectueusement des femmes rondes. Construite sur un talon hexagonal Louis XIV exquis et décadent, cet escarpin utilise un contrapposto de suède souple doté de motifs royaux étampés avec un bout et une courroie robuste en cuir verni sans oublier les boucles décorées. Very cool - and comfy, too!
I wear an 8 in most Fluevogs and do in these, too. I loved the burgundy, but bought the black. Although they fit a little snugly across the top of my foot, I'm sure they'll stretch a little (and the straps can always be adjusted). I've worn them with jeans, skirts, and suits (ya gotta spice things up a bit sometimes). Very pleased.

Love These Shoes
I am an avid collector of Fluevogs. I bought these Vogs in the Granville Street Store - they fit slightly narrow. The colour on my screen is very close to the actual colour. These shoes are comfortable and stylish!

Blushing Bride
I love, love, LOVE, these shoes! I bought them to wear in my wedding and they are purrfect! I will agree that they do not appear quite as red as they do on the computer screen, but are a beautiful red wine color (hence burgandy???). The
7 1/2 runs true to size and they are so comfortable I never want to take them off! Can not wait to rock these for my big day. Thanks Fluevog

Fit is great, not sure about color & cut
I normally am a 9 or 9.5, and the 9.5 fits perfectly and feels extremely comfortable.
Unfortunately, I have to agree that the color on-screen is not accurate. The true color of the patterned leather is much more muted and leans toward purple. As well, it seems suede-like, rather than a nice polished surface, which is what I expected.
As well, the two shoes do not match in the shaping of the cut around the toes. At full price, I would like symmetry. So, I will probably send these back. I'm debating about exchanging...

Color is WAY off
Love the style of the shoes, but the color is WAY off. Online they look more red than burgundy. When I received my shipment I was surprised to find a very purple shoe. Please, please, please adjust your colors. (I'm using an iMac which is known for it's color-correctness.) Sadly I need to return them because they don't go with my dress.

Unfortunately, I need to return the Burgundy. The shoes run true to the size; however, the real color is far away from the pictured and does not go well with any cloths. Also, the leather does not appear to be the real leather, it feels like a fake leather. These the first pair of shoes that disappointed me. (:`(

These are not only stylish, but ridiculously comfortable! The best part is that the straps are adjustable so they can fit my wide feet. The bottoms are a bit slippery, but once they break in I'm sure they'll be fine.
