Great fit in the foot bed and in the ankle. Some with more muscular calves get quite get the zipper all the way up, but the leather is easy to stretch

LOVE these boots - have hardly taken them off since I bought them. I'm usually a size 9-9.5 but bought a 10, and have plenty of room for warm socks. I have a 15 inch calf and they fit beautifully; even better over time. Compliments galore! Go with everything! LOVE LOVE LOVE my Vogs, thank you!!!

Just received these purple gems and they are amazing. This is my first pair of Fluevogs but will certainly not be my last. I stumbled upon them while surfing boot sites. Some people surf porn, I, however surf boots and when I saw these I knew that I had to make them mine! I am typically an 8 but ordered a 9 as most reviews seemed to say go larger and I am so happy that I did. They fit perfectly, like a glove in fact. They are extremely comfortable and I am finding it most difficult to take them off my feet, I want to wear them everywhere!!!! Did I mention that I love them!!

Gods gift to boot whores
I am a self proclaimed boot whore. These boots although a bit tight and asumably will take time to break in are what I have been looking for my whole life. freaking gorgeous!!!! if your calf is more than 14' forget it these boots are slim fitting. Finnally I can stop the inasanity and settle down with these although I had to have the brown and the black!

I am in LOVE!!
These are the most incredible, sexy, comfortable, show stopping boots ever! And unlike many Vog boots, these are nice and snug on my ankle and calf (I am a size 10 with about a 13.5 calf circumfrence). I am 5'8" and these come all the way up to my knee- probably will not work well for gals with more shapely and/or shorter legs. These took almost no time to break in and they are aging oh so well- the purple is a fantastic shade that goes with almost everything. Could not be happier- and now I just may need black and brown! Thank you John- I LOVE MY VOGS!

like coming home!
I am a boot fanatic and have been looking for a stylish, well-made tall black riding boot that doesn't gape wildly around the calf. A friend mentioned she'd recently bought a pair of Fluevog's and, having grown up in Vancouver knowing the brand all my life, I kicked myself when I went to the website and found these amazing boots. They looked like more than I'd dreamed possible but would they fit my calves??? I'm 5'5" and about 118lbs and also a bit of a fitness fanatic and have always considered my calves on the bigger side. So I went down to the store to try them on . .. absolute perfection! I'm a true size 7.5 so tried on both the 37 and 38, both of which I could zip up over skinny jeans right of the bat. I decided on the 37's because, although they were snug and a bit more of a challenge to get on with my high arches than the 38's, my toes didn't touch and they didn't pinch anywhere and I was assured they'd stretch slightly as I wore them. I can't believe as a Vancouver native it's taken me so long to discover Fluevog but I'm sure this will be my first of many more Fluevogs to come! LOVE THEM WILDLY!

These boots are made for walkin'
This is my fourth pair of Fluevog boots. Once again, it was love at first sight with Luna's in purple.
I wear a 9-10 in Fluevog shoes - depending on the design. These boots required a size 10 for complete zipper closure.
Big THANK YOU to Jack in the Chicago store for his expertise. The size 10s are perfect and I know they're just get better with time.

I am a huge Fluevog fan so I didn't hesitate when my lovely man offered to buy me another pair! These boots look stunning and although a bit tight in the calf, they felt comfortable enough in the store. I brought them home hoping to make them part of my regular rotation. Luckily I decided to wear them around the house and quickly discovered that the heel cup was stiff and uncomfortable! After an hour I was in extreme pain! The Toronto staff have been great thus far (I sent them an email stating I am from out of town and need to come in and exchange). I look forward to exchanging them next week for a different super comfortable pair! ?:-)

I bought these in brown to replace my Heidis--I really prefer a bit of a heel and the Luna is just perfect. Love the gorgeous distressed leather and harness detail, plus the adjustable buckled gusset at the top is sheer brilliance because this is an extremely slim-fitting boot and thanks to the bit of ease at the top there is no unseemly bulging or digging into the calf! Usually a 7.5 but an 8 in Fluevog boots, they needed about 15 minutes of wearing before I could zip all the way up, and while they're still tight (I have a 15" calf)they are loosening just right, and the foot and ankle areas felt perfect right away and I anticipate them to be a favorite for many years to come.

My first fluvie disappointment
This is my fourth pair of Fluevogs and I have been thrilled with all my shoes and boots thus far. I just bought these and they felt good in the store but after giving them a chance for two days I can absolutely say they are the MOST uncomfortable things I have ever put on my feet. The stiching along the outside intersects exactly on my ankle bone causing extreme discomfort with everystep... There is basically no support or padding under the balls of the feet and after walking only a few city blocks I am aching. I definitely would not recommend these boots. They were an expensive mistake.

A bit of work me lovlies
These are gorgeous and I'm loving them so far. I don't consider myself to have large calves but they do require a wee bit of coaxing to get on but I feel in time they will relax more. My advice is to only buy these if you can go in and try them on as they are a very particular fit.
