Based off an old Fox & Fluevog clog last, the Response is a handmade wooden clog perfect for the sunshine and warm weather. This is an updated classic Fluevog design that features an adjustable T-strap, long toe, hand painted edges, and brass buckles and tacks. Built on a stained Chilean Pine wooden sole and heel, and laminated in a vertical direction to prevent splitting or chipping, the Response is handmade in a Mexican factory that has specialized in wooden clogs for over twenty years. Adding a rubber topy on the sole for grip and soft local leathers, produced in small and limited numbers, this is the Response you've waiting for. "Ask and you shall receive."

Fear not for your soles!
I originally went into the Boston store on International Fluevog Day to buy these in orange, but ended up with the black. And they go with everything! It's true that the soles wear out very quickly, but I immediately went back to the the store and they replaced the soles for free and with a much sturdier rubber. I wore them all summer and they are still in great condition.

Super Style AND Comfort - Order True
I have a hard time with high heels & I'm on my feet all day - but Fluevogs are one that I can usually deal with, especially with a platform. Hello, ORANGE amazing sandals! I got them in the summer, but had ordered up to a 10 so they wouldn't pinch.... but I couldn't even see my toes! The New York store was so amazing in letting me exchange these 3 months later after summer got too busy for me to return them right away!! (THANKS!) (A Vog unworn & unloved is a sad thing!)
The first time I wore them was our Gallery Walk day where I am running around wildly rearranging things, on my feet at a gallery/retail store - then staying open late playing hostess for an extra 3 hours! No problems! Perfect! Yay! Keep up the great, stylish, comfortable work!

The quality on these shows is horrid. The rubber on the sole is way too thin and had to be replaced after a few wears, costing me $$. Very disappointing.

These are awesome. I ordered them from Sweden, and they fit perfectly. The leather is so soft, and I can hardly feel I'm on high heels at all.
It took about 20 minutes to get used to the curved sole, so that was not a problem at all. However, I did not take into consideration the fact that my ankles tend to fold unexpectedly now and then. This is generally not a problem, but with this high heels, that makes my tendons stretch in way they're not suppposed to. I wear these shoes at work now, so I can be sure the floor is always even.

It was love at first sight and I had to have these even though I spent a fortune on shipping, etc. Well, I have worn these shoes 4 straight days since I got them. This is unheard of. I am a shoe freak and own a gazillion pairs, so I never wear any one 4 straight days, until now. I bought the orange. I really need the black too but I have to save up for shipping. Oh by the way, they do run narrow so if you have a medium width or wider foot order 1/2 size up. The good folks in Canada were right. Please open a store in London. I will manage it for you.

Response is very positive!!
I bought an orange Response pair in the Boston store and I love them. I was set on buying the Fillmore, however when I saw the Response my heart was taken. Just to note, the Fillmore I would have taken a size 10 and in the Response I bought a size 9, they fit great. I'm usually a 9.5. I've always been happy with Fluevog and glad to add these to the collection. These will be my everyday sandle for the rest of the summer into early fall!! THANK YOU FLUEVOG!!

No. 5 Orange
These little orange works of art were my way of celebrating the Fluevog 40th Anniversary, and I love them. Super comfortable, no problem running down the hall at work to my next meeting. I like the adjustable strap so I can cinch them up tight on my narrow feet. Leave yourself extra time to get to your destination when walking down the street, because you will constantly get stopped by strangers, asking where you got your fabulous shoes. Thanks to Chad and the gang at the Granville store for the usual 5-star customer service.

Strange But True
Ok.... when I first saw these shoes they made me say Hmmmmmm. Then I went down to the Toronto store tried them on. At first, they felt a little strange when walking(you have to get use to a little rolling action.) But once you do(it doesn't take long) these shoes are amazing.
I spent more time deciding between the blood orange or black. I went with the black but it was tough choice. I wish I would've gotten the name of the girl who helped me. She was amazing.
PS... to that girl, Thank you for helping my mom buy her first pair of vogs.

I broke down and snapped these up in orange as soon as they appeared. They are I think, a half size big but close enough for govt. work. The fact that I can not only stand in them but actually move forward in an admittedly slow, but reasonable manner speaks to how well engineered they are. No ankle movement, no unpleasant pressure on the ball of my foot. So nice in fact my friend took them off my feet, put them on and ran away with them >.<
