These are very very very comfortable, even after hours on my feet. However, I too have nicked the covering on the heel quite easily and this should just not happen that readily given the quality of the rest of the shoe.. John you may want to provide a more robust heel covering on this shoe. Otherwise I love them !!

Bought the Selby in Toronto a month ago. The second time wearing them, I slightly knicked the heel, after which the wood covering peeled back to reveal a white plastic heel. Looks terrible... and I didn't even have much of a chance to wear them. I like the fit and the look - too bad the quality of the heel is so poor. And I bought a couple of items while in the store - and have in the past - sort of sorry I invested in these shoes.

Beautiful low-key fancy shoes!
I'm in the process of breaking these in and as usual, I'm so, so happy with my purchase! These shoes are very soft and sweet and fit my feet like a glove. Having said that, if my feet were just a tiny bit bigger, these shoes would no longer be feasible as the cut of this shoe is very snug on the sides. I generally wear an 8.5 in Fluevogs and am wearing these in 9.5 to accommodate my foot width so I'd size up if anything.
They are gorgeous in person though and can easily be dressed up or down.

I've been looking for a nice dress shoe that doesn't expose or hurt my feet for some time. The interior leathers are incredibly soft, and I was pleasantly surprised with the pointed toe box...it did not squeeze my toes together like I expected. Very, very comfortable! The 7.5 is my normal size, and it fit's nicely with & without socks. The style is classic, yet seriously vintage at the same time. I LOVE these shoes!!!

When they say "soft" they are not kidding! The leather wraps around my foot like a hug, making my feet feel happy, comfy, and stylin' all day long!
