In 1889, Pioneer Libby Smith (age 16) was captured by a tribe of Native Americans and was forced into a tribal death-game called "the gauntlet." After surviving a near-fatal tomahawk to the head, Libby later became famous as an integral part of the "77" - a renegade vigilante group who helped protect the settlers of Montana. Using soft dusty leathers with faux-spats & buttons on a 2.5" Fellowship-hi heel and tunite Bellevue sole, this zipped calf-high boot is sure to get you through the Gauntlet in one piece.

I love these boots! They are my second pair of Vog's. I can wear a 7.5-8.5 depending on the brand (38-39 euro sizes) of shoe. I bought these in 8.5 and they fit great. The leather is so soft and the buttons are delightful. However, they are not as comfortable as my Xie Xie's. The arch support isn't as high. Also, not as much traction on the sole. Even though they aren't as comfortable as my Xie's I still would have bought them if I had tried them on first. The style is so unique and beautiful. Quite the delight!

Deeply In Love... Thanks Fluevog Gastown
I was in Vancouver with the intention of purchasing these boots while I was there, and they did not fail to disappoint. I've had a million 'Man those are hot!' and I've only had occasion to wear them 3 times. They're super comfy.I'd just like to add that not only is the Gastown Fluevog store STUNNING, the girl who helped me (wish I had got her name!) was amazing.

Best shoes ever
Honestly, I for the life of me, I suck in heels. They kill my toes, but this pair of shoes is the only pair of heels I can wear to work and stand in (seamstress/designer) for 8 hours and then some. Seriously, not only are they killer cute (I am pretty sure I don't need to point that out) but they are comfortable and they will get you stopped on the streets with questions of "where did you get those". As for fit. I have a regular width foot and they were a bit snug but the leather was supple and formed to my foot perfectly. I wear a 10 in most shoes and I know I wear an 11 in Fluevogs. And yes, they look fab with jeans and a t-shirt, tucked in or out of the pants.

I have them in black with red buttons, but it was a tough decision. I nearly went for the olive-and-taupe ones. These are probably the most eye-catching pair of boots I have ever owned, and look great under skinny jeans. They have a narrower fit across the ball of the foot than some other Fluevog styles (I have a regular width foot), but they are made of such deliciously soft leather that they stretched to accommodate my foot in a couple of hours. Smashing!

So in Love
My husband came back from LA with these for me as a birthday present. It was absolutely love at first site (my husband disgruntedly agreed). They are true to size in the foot (I'm an 8.5) but unfortunately they are too narrow in the calf for my leg. :-( That's all ok though I will just need to get them stretched. Thanks to Shaun at Melrose for all his assistance, my husband couldn't have done this without you.

I have to say that I am obsessed with these boots!!!! They are fabulously comfortable and the perfect accent for a dress with tights and boots. I consistently receive comments on my boots, but even better than that, I feel cute in them!

These Boots = Happiest Feet in the World
Oh My God! Not only do these look classically gorgeous, you can run, jump, dance, strut, and do backflips in them. And the whole time you are doing that, your toes will be smiling because your feet will be incredibly comfortable. Don't hesitate, you get what you pay for here, amazingness!

Gotta Have These!!!
OMG....why oh why did I spend over $200 Euros on boots in Paris when I could've bought these??? I fell in love with these boots the minute I saw them and I knew I wouldn't sleep until I had them on my feet. I will be going to Gastown to buy the black with the red buttons...tres tres chic @>-

Great boots !!
these are beautiful!! a little snug through the instep, and ankle, but stretch out pretty quickly. they seem a little higher than 2 1/2", but since its a boot, if feels pretty secure walking. i like the shoe bag they come with too!! saving for my next Fluevogs already...

I saw these on a preview and just knew I had to have them. I just couldn't decide on which color!! I thought for certain they would be over $400, and I would have paid that for them, but they are only $289! I bought the black with red buttons and WOW! Skirts, jeans, pants - so cool. Get them now - you'll deeply regret it if you don't.
