SMELLS OF LOVE

Never have a pair of shoes smelt as wonderful as my new Fluvogs which arrived safely in Australia yesterday. I am the proud owner of the sassy and wonderful Pearl Harts . They fit true to size and look just as adorable as the image. What you don't get from your website is the divine smell of these lovely shoes. They smell of a product that is manufactured with real care, love and a touch of magic in there. This is my first pair of shoes from your company but I'll be returning. The service was exceptional from start to finish and you really live up to all the buzz and hype surrounding you. I appreciated the extra gifts that came with the shoes (the note said there was a hold up on the order but I hadn't noticed). And special thanks to Jessamy from Boston for all their help with my emails. :-D

Comfy, supportive, AND cute!

I love these heels to pieces. I had reconstructive surgery on one of my ankles over a year ago, and my doctor told me once I was cleared to wear cute shoes again, that if I was going to wear heels, they need to be supportive and well-made... And these sure are! I can wear these all day in comfort and never feel the slightest bit of instability in my ankle. They are also lovely in person (I have the black/cream colored ones). I do feel that they run slightly small, and ordered a size larger than I would normally wear. The sole also can be a bit slippery, particularly in damp weather. However, these heels are amazingly comfortable and make my feet very, very happy.

Love these shoes SO MUCH

I got these shoes at the Boston store, even though I am not in the habit of wearing heels. These things are incredibly comfortable! I can walk in them all day, though I did require the addition of ball-of-foot cushions while my feet got used to not being in flats. I got the black and burgundy, and they're dressy enough to pair with skirts, but I can wear them with jeans as well. So awesome!

My first Vogs...

And I am in love! I have seen many reviews that say "order up a size", but I bought my normal 9.5 size and they fit great. Even a little room to spare since I can wear these barefoot or with handknit socks! I was hesitant on color too since the black and beige almost look white, but they are not. The beige is more of a tan leaning beige than a white leaning color. WOOT! :-D

Second in comfort only to my derby swirls, these are my favorite Vogs! All of my 'ladies' shoes I have purchsed from Fluevog fit a smidge too small, or too narrow, resulting in short wear-time and a search for thinner socks. But these- Ahhh! I want a pair in every color. I would wear my Pearl Harts all day, anywhere. My only request? Please, pretty please, bring them back in Olive Green. Size 6. Thank you!

I ordered these in my usual size (European 39 = 8.5)and they do fit alright, though a larger size would have been okay as well I guess. Haven't worn them outside the house yet, so I can't report on any compliments by strangers yet, but I love them. Great colours (coral & brown), and the soles are so comfortably cushioned! I'm very pleased with these shoes, they look fabulous. However, I'd like to remark that the heels and soles inside the shoes were slightly stained, as if they'd been tried on a few times too often (but that's alright as I bought them on sale), and the bolt (spike?) of one buckle came off when I tried them on (maybe I've been too hard on them), never to be found again, but I managed to replace it with the bolt of a buckle from an old shoe I don't wear any more. Cheers to the Seattle staff!

Give these a chance

Bought the pink/coral version in a size 10. In non-vog shoes, I range from 9-10. I had read that the Pearl's run small, so I sized up a full size. At first, I thought this was a mistake. But I took the plunge and wore these babies out of the house. Now I know I made the right decision in sizing up. Wear: They look good with everything, even as brightly colored as they are. What more can I say?! Fit: Seemed too big at first, and the toe shape seemed strange to my eyes. However, after wearing these shoes all day at work (and doing a fair bit of walking in the process), I realize that they soften and conform to your foot shape quickly. There are one or two spots of slightly uncomfortable rubbing, but I'm also not wearing socks or stockings with them. The sole under the toe, though, is quite slick at first and makes walking on carpet (or grass!) difficult/funny. The heel is cushioned and the soft rubber makes walking a joy. The crossed straps across the instep make for a great, stable fit. The arch support is lower than I usually need, and the toe bed is a little...hard? I'm just going to use some thin cushioned inserts for both issues. Other stuff: The only think that I don't like about these shoes is that the lovely sole design is immediately scraped off after just one short walk through a parking lot. But, really, that's my only real complaint. Definitely size up, though, if you have wide or larger feet.

Thanks to the marvelous Rebecca in Chicago (and my husband who was willing to start at 4 am to get me an hour at the Fluevog store) I love these. They are true to size (I wear a 10 in most shoes and bought these in a 10). Just cooler than other office shoes!

Yet another pair of pretty, pretty shoes

Alas....nothing like the colour combination of this particular version. The 10.5 in this style (I range from a 10-11) fit like a glove. They are truly the most comfortable shoes. Every time I wear them people stop to comment on them. Love them, love them, love them. Thanks again for brilliant shoes that last to actually be worn! Happy, Happy Fluevog customer (bought my first pair in the early 90's) and still going strong!

LOVE 'EM

These coral/brown babies arrived yesterday and I am thrilled by the fit and look of them! This is my fourth pair of Fluevogs, and second pair from the Bellvue family so the sizing was accurate. In person they are more pinkish than coral, but yet still very lovely. Can't wait to strut my stuff!
