En 1889, la pionnière Libby Smith (âgée de 16 ans) a été capturée par une tribu d'Amérindiens et fut forcée de participer au jeu mortel tribal appelé le « gauntlet » où les prisonniers devaient traverser deux rangées d'hommes munis d'armes. Après avoir survécu à un coup quasi mortel de tomahawk, Libby devint plus tard un membre important du «77» - un groupe de vigilance formé de renégats qui aidèrent à protéger les colons du Montana. Fabriquée d'un cuir souple poussiéreux avec des fausses guêtres et des boutons, cette botte est dotée du talon haut Fellowship de 2.5" et de la semelle de tunite Bellevue. Libby Smith est une botte mi-mollet à fermeture éclair qui vous assurera de traverser le «Gauntlet» en un morceau.

While on vak in Montreal, we happened, blissfully, upon a Fluevog store. Whilst inside I bought 3 pairs and my boyfriend bought 2!! I drooled over the Libby Smith's but alas, due to my splurge on my other three pairs, I had to leave them there :-O When I got home to SW Ontario, I couldn't stop thinking about them!!! So I got on-line and ordered them up. They were in my paws within 1 week and when I slipped them on, ahhhhh, they fit like a dream! I'm am usually about a 9.5 to a 10. I ordered these in a 10 and they fit perfectly. I have a skinny foot and a super high arch so they need a little stretching out around the arch of my foot, but once I wore them for a brief period of time... I can tell they are going to fit like a glove after a couple of wears. These boots are GENIUS and I love them and all my Fluevogs. I'm hooked!! You rock John Fluevog :-D

And Fluevog does it again...
The moment I saw this boot online, I couldn't wait to get to the Fluevog store to try them on...and guess what? They are even more beautiful in person! The colors are soft, the shoe is comfortable, and it made my feet (aka boats) look significantly smaller. What more can one ask for in a shoe? :-{
