Disappointed

This is my first pair of Fluevogs. I was so excited. All the reviews were so favorable so I just decided to wear them to work. Big mistake. They turned out to be uncomfortable, restrictive and had the leather had no give. Oh well, can't return them now that they have been worn. Will have to think long and hard before ever ordering more. :-(

I just acquired a new to me (almost mint) pair of these in black and I absolutely love them. The only thing I was a little disappointed with is that they do not seem to be anywhere near the same quality as the 6 Strap version have which is significantly better. Either way, I am in love with these and would like to see more made available in black so I can get a new backup pair. They seem a little wider and more forgiving for wider feet than the 6 Strap Boot which is a plus. I would love to see these in Black/White and then some fun bright color combos, please...PLEASE!

PLEASE bring back the Allies!!! These are my favorite shoes EVER, and you don't have a substitute that's "almost" good enough for me. I would buy 3 pairs of the Allies if you bring them back in new colors!!!

Fit for a young 55 year old

I may be in my mid-fifties, but that doesn't mean I like to wear Dr. Scholl's all of the time. I love my new Fluevogs! They make feel like I'm in my teens again. They are a bit snug in the toe area, but nothing that a few outings will take care of. I'm officially in love with Fluevogs!! When you get to be my age, anything that makes people still think your cool is alright by me! ,->

Just keep workin' those straps/buckles

When I first got these like many they were pretty hard to buckle but I discovered that placing the buckle prong into the strap hole when I was *not* wearing them helped to keep the holes from closing up. Also, I have a high instep and the straps just needed to soften and stretch to the point where I could comfortably get them over my feet and buckle the shoes. I've had them for a few months now and have worn them at least 20-30 times and now they are fine and dandy. Totally easy to buckle. Oh - and they look so fab too and and such fun to wear! Super comfy as well. These are the largest size Vogs I have, most of my other pairs are 9 or 9.5 and these are a 10. :-)

Second problem pair

I should clarify my earlier post; the problem was not with the buckle, but the strap which came away from the shoe at the stitching. After MUCH back and forth I received my replacement shoes, and am incredibly disappointed to find they have badly scuffed and scratched toes!!! I hate to do it, but again with the sad face :-( This is a bit of a nightmare and is testing my devotion to Vogs. Still waiting on refund of postage, don't have wearable shoes and the work situation I purchased these shoes for is almost over. From reading earlier posts the straps & scuffing seem like they could be common problems with the Alli's.

beautiful sadness

I purchased these online in a size larger (as they were sold out of my size) hoping they would fit my wide feet. Alas, I am sadly disappointed; these shoes appear to be true to size. I love these shoes and was hoping they would be my very first pair of Vogs. The Union Station store (Thank you Karen!) gave me some ideas to help make them fit better but I just don't think an insole is going to fill the space I would need filled in these shoes. I am sad...

Didn't even make it out the door

I LOVE Fluevogs and am slowly building up my collection. I ordered a pair of these in Brown/Wine through the Montreal store on Fluevog day (size 7, am usually a 7-7.5, they fit perfectly), and they arrived in the post today.........I didn't even get to put both shoes on before one of the buckles broke. I think I actually shed a tear. Have contacted the store about the problem and am hoping for a quick resolution. They look gorgeous, I just want to get to wear them out the door (:`(

Fabulous!

Finally got ahold of a pair of these in brown and wine! They fit great and are comfortable. I am normally either a 9.5 or a 10 in vog land, and bought a 10 in these. They do feel a tad bit narrow, but otherwise perfect. :D
