Fellowship is encouraging words... said in faith.

The Spring 12 Connie features a soft, matte leather with two different sized perforations for the ultimate ventilation, with no heel cup (now elasticized) for a lighter, casual fit. The Fall 11 Connie features rugged, oiled and aged Atlas leathers.

Fit like a glove!

Bought these in pink so I can break them in to use as my walking-around-cities shoe during my upcoming travels. They fit my narrow high-arched foot like they were made for me (I usually wear a 6.5 in Vogs, and these are no different). I am completely in love, even though I am usually more of a "high heels" gal. Many thanks to Vannary and Tara at the Toronto store for truly excellent customer service on my online order. Fluevog continues to impress in every way.

Just bought these!

I just bought these after agonizing over which size to order online after reading the reviews. I usually where 7.5 in vogs. I ran down to the local shop here in Seattle and they had one pair of 8's in grey. I bought them and am wearing them now! They fit perfectly! So - they worked for me without having to go to far up in size. They are actually even cuter in person too.

Comfy and way cuter in person

IRL these are a med pink and softer than suede. Amazingly comfortable... Like walking on clouds somehow The leather is so soft that I felt the ties so I changed it from the reverse lacing and all rubbing stopped I bought a full size up and while it fir and the elastic back did not rub .. My long toes touched the end I bought a size and a half up. Perfection ... the arch support could rival a tennis shoe .. Toe box is nice and roomy...great fit Sooooo I bought an identical pair so I won't be without and have a or in gray on hold so it will be bought to be dyed. ... Maroon or burgundy..yum These cute toes pop out from under long pants on an endearing way Thx JF!!!

Happily ever after

I loved the beautiful gray Connies at first sight and couldn't believe it when they went on sale. Irresistible. I got a half-size up, and they fit like a dream. There's nothing quite like love requited. Thanks to Jack in Chicago for patience and good humor.

Connie hate the name love the shoe

I have just brought these in grey from my local Australian stockist. I love them, day one and i got 3 compliments at work and my partner said... "Is that another pair of those Canadian guys shoes? He would not normally notice if i had grow two heads. So that's what attention seekers these babies are! I love them. But as stated buy other people of great taste and worth, they come up small. I am size ten usually in Fluevog's but I have found these a bit on the tight side, had to get 10's as that was all that was in stock, all the way down here in Melbourne. I am hoping that as the leather is super soft they will give a little. Otherwise I am recovering from a fracture ankle and hight wise these are fab, not too high but not super flat either. Thanks John for another beautiful pair of shoes.

just what I've been looking for

Saw these on sale, was reading reviews and someone commented that the soles were great for walking and checking on things in the barn... they reminded me of the oxfords my grandmom used to wear out in the fields walking the dog, and working in the kitchen, and shopping- that is, pretty much everywhere- so I decided to give them a try. Got the last 10.5 and was glad I sized up- will probably have them stretched a little across the ball of the foot to accomodate thicker socks for cooler weather- but they are sturdy and stylish and I love them. So much, in fact, that I have put some of my other Vogs on the Fluemarket so I can get the Moiras (boot in the same family) in black.

Second pair of Connies, in brown and black, because these shoes are so amazingly wonderful I wanted to make certain I had them in this iteration, before changes were made. This is a strong, bombproof, leather shoe that makes walking a pleasure, standing a pleasure, and surprisingly enough... driving a pleasure. I feel like I've found my shoes and none other will do, hence the second pair. The brown and black looks, if it is possible, even better on than the burgundy. I can see why this shoe is overlooked, and therefore, well into the sale, still available. It isn't "amazing" as shown on the website. It isn't colorful. It is just the best everyday shoe you could ever own. And now I have mine. So you can go ahead and order a pair, I'm good.

Best.Shoes.Ever

I ordered these from ol Sydneytown in Australia. Having read the comments I made sure to ask the Fluevoggers at the LA store that I was assigned to, to help with sizing. I'm an 8 in Aus sizes, 38 European, so I got an 8.5 in these. They are a DREAM. I have the kind of fussy feet that get grumpy after more than a day wearing the same pair of shoes...not these! I cannot bear to take my Connies off. They are the most comfortable, adorable shoes I've ever owned. Thanks John and the team!

I know I have unusual feet...

First of all - great shoes! I was so excited to see these go on sale in burgundy. They're my first Fluevogs, they are absolutely beautiful, and I hope to wear them for many happy years. Now -- fit-wise, I'm going to be a contrarian. All the other reviewers (so far) agree that these run QUITE small. I, however, had to size DOWN! I initially ordered them in 9.5 based on the reviews -- typically, I wear shoes in 9 or 9.5. However, I found them just too roomy in 9.5. How can this be, you might ask, when everyone else says they're tight? Well, I have quite narrow feet. Length-wise, the 9.5s were pretty good, if slightly long - but width-wise I was swimming in them. I exchanged for 9s, and while in my perfect world they might be just a hair longer, I think the length will be fine. And the width? For someone with narrow feet who rarely has well-fitting shoes, these fit LIKE A DREAM!!! So, in conclusion, if you have narrow feet, you might find that all the "size up!" suggestions don't apply to you.

Tight Shoe! (Tight Fit too!)

P-) First off: I LOVE MY CONNIES! I've been coveting these shoes online for some time but during a recent trip to Portland I went into the store and snagged them. OMG am I glad I didn't buy them online because they are SIZED SUPER-SMALL! Don't let the little 1/2-size-up comments fool you. I'm a 10 and got an 11 and they're still *tight*! I'm wearing them around constantly to loosen them up, but this is seriously an 11 that is made like a 9.5. Not 10. Not 10.5. 9.5!! That said, the leather is delis and the shoe itself (most of my Vogs are either Operetta or Angel heels) is a delight to walk in like all of my Vogs. I'm a big fan--even made a new fan when I brought a friend with me to the store. She bought her first Vogs! All I'd say though is to be careful with these. Go to the store. Try them on. Walk around. Nothing is worth the shipping nightmare due to the poor sizing/fit.
