Twin Turbines |
328 Newbury St
[Black]
Way back in 1987, when Billy Idol, Run DMC, and Bon Jovi ruled the music charts, John opened his second US boutique across the continent on Newbury Street, Boston. In a tiny basement storefront (yes, even smaller than Boston's current location), John unveiled his most radical shoe designs like the Saturday Night Specials, the Safety Vogs, and the still sought after multi-coloured platform Angel Supervogs.
Soon word got out and all of Boston's hippest club-goers and rock'n'goth enthusiasts were wearing the latest, and hard-to-find, John Fluevog Shoes. Continuing the Fluevog heritage by using classic partial blake construction with
soles and uppers made from high-grain Italian leathers, and a wraparound adjustable buckled strap, the slip-on 328 Newbury Street boot is a gorgeous all-occasion boot for the most proper Brahmin.
*These particular leather soles can be slippery. If you find this to be the case, we advise adding a topy as a safety precaution.

These are my second pair of Fluevogs, which I bought just before traveling to New York. My first shoes from you were so comfortable right out of the box that I trusted these would be too. I happy my instinct was right - I put them on at 8am knowing I would be on my feet all day, and wouldn't be taking them off until at least 1am. Sure my feet were sore from a long day, but I had absolutely none of the discomfort I'd come to expect from breaking in new shoes.
I've worn these out many times since - they're still comfortable, and they get lots of attention.

Feels like butter on your feet!
The ultimate in foot pampering! These booties are handsom, timeless and make the perfect ensemble whatever color you are wearing as pants! Fit true to size, however a little snug at first. Superb craftmanship that one would expect from Fluevog! ,-)
