I bought these in purple and tan; I was a little worried that they wouldn't fit, since everyone's commenting about how they buy them a little bigger than their usual size. Well, I had to order mine in an 8.5 - I typically wear an 8.5 or 9 and the next size up from an 8.5 was a 10. Well, there was no way I was ordering a 10, so I went with an 8.5 and I'm so glad I did!!! They fit perfectly around my foot, ankle and calf, and besides a bit of tightness the first time I wore them, they're some of the most comfortable shoes I own. I've worn them several times now and the tightness has worked its way out. I'm definitely saving up my pennies (and nickels and dimes) for my next pair. Thanks!

got the Libby Smiths in black and they are amazing! I wear an 8 in regular shoes & the 8.5 fits perfectly, although they do run on the narrow side. Also, the buttons look red in the photo, but the ones on my boots are definitely more of a plum color & the box says they are "PURPLE"...other people have described them as red so I'm not sure if there are color variations or what, but just be aware if you're going for the black boots & are particular about that sort of thing.

Just got these in purple & tan & they are awesome!!!! I ordered the 9.5 since I'm anywhere btwn a 9 and 10.5 and they are roomy in the toes but do feel a lil tight around the arches even though mine are not high. I am glad these are real leather & will stretch out. This is my third pair of Fluevogs and so far 9.5 works for me! The tan is a lil darker than shown BUT they are still very beautiful shoes! I am sooooo glad I indulged! They are just really cool esp. if purple is your favorite color as it is mine! :-)

I've been lusting after these boots for more than a year now and finally splurged when they went on sale. I got the black and beige, with red buttons, which is gone now, and I'm so happy I did.
I ordered these online and, while I normally wear a 9.5 and bought a 10.5 because of my previous experience with Fluevog. They arrived (great shipping emails but oh, the wait was a couple of weeks and it was loooong) and didn't fit. My calf was too big and the shoe was exceedingly narrow. But read on... this has a happy ending. I contacted the Seattle store and they had me come in for sizing and stretching. This took a few weeks (I guess you just have to wait for the really awesome things in life, right?) while another person's shoes were on the stretcher and required a second measuring for me. But at long last, I got this beautiful pair of boots, stretched to fit perfectly. They're so soft that the narrow feeling went away within an hour of wearing them.
I will say that they're not as comfortable for me as others have posted. The sole feels very thin and is crazy slick (you have to scuff it, which is a shame because the art on the bottom is wonderful). The more I wear them, the more comfortable I get with them, but you should definitely give yourself some time to get used to them. It makes me day to see them on my feet and I get tons of compliments. Thanks for making this awesome shoe (and I think you should bring back the beige and black).

Cute cute cute!
The upturned toe is odd to say the least but doesn't feel weird at all.
Super cute vintage style. The pink and brown combination is hot. A touch tight at the top on my wide calves but the leather warms and stretches quickly.
gorgeous victorian inspiration! pink & brown combo is delicious; the blue button details a bonus. i've read comments about the narrow foot, which worried me a bit, since i am avg w/ a very high instep...
but am thrilled i took a chance, because they fit both w/ ease. lower heel is an breeze. slanted toe does not compromise the fit. :-D

Lovely fit but the left looks sad
I ordered these from the Boston store because my size wasn't available in Canada. They're a perfect fit for my narrow feet. Unfortunately though the left boot is discoloured(yellowed) and the leather is dried and scratched in places. :-( Not sure if there's any solution? Sending them back to Boston is a bit of pain and I really wanted these boots. (-(

Hi Heather, bring them by one of the Vancouver stores and they will see what they can do to freshen them up.

What a surprise! These boots were a perfect fit for my long narrow feet. I wore them 9 hours the first day without regret. I will be purchasing more from the line in the future.
I received many positive comments about them.

I own these darlings in black with the red buttons. They make me feel oh so very slightly naughty, like a Barkerville Madam. Very wearable, and very nice with dresses, skirts or culottes. Bravo!
