Love my Tall Pauls, but I did order a size down after reading reviews and ended up having to exchange for the size I usually wear. I have skinny feet and calves, so who knows.

Love these boots!

Bought the tan ones at the Boston Store. I am still trying to figure out my fluevog sizes for different shoe families. The black leather versions I would have bought in a size 5 but didn't like how they felt on my feet. Then Wylie brought out these tan ones. They were perfect in the size 4. The boots are a tiny snug at the widest part of my feet but they should break in beautifully. Wylie and the staff at this store were lovely, funny, helpful, and so friendly!

Cute, but not "all-terrain"

I was excited to get these in the mail, but when they arrived I was very disappointed because the leather soles have absolutely no tread. Other than that, the boots were comfortable and cute. The leather was very soft. I typically wear a size 7 but I ordered these boots in a 6 after reading the reviews. The 6 fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I had to return them because I was looking for boots I could wear in any weather, including ice, snow, and sleet. These look great, but I'm afraid that a no-tread sole is a recipe for disaster during an icy winter season. Perhaps you could add more views of the boots from different angles, including a picture of the soles?

I've just worn for the 1st time my 5th pair of fluevogs.Drooooool.:-B They are perfect in every way. The leather is so soft & supple and smells so good! They do fit a little big but with socks that's not an issue.

The Bomb.

Being desperate to own these (most perfect boots), I ordered the size 9 and was hopeful, as a 9.5 - 10 usually fits. The boots are a perfect fit when I am not wearing socks. The shape and feel of these boots is very flattering and even more brilliant in person. I've worn them with a skirt and with jeans, and love that (as another reviewer mentioned) you can tighten the laces as much or as little as you like. As a collector and constant wearer of boots, these are my favourite by a mile, and I will definitely pass these on to my daughters in 20 years or so - an heirloom purchase!

so glad I got these

I hemmed and hawed for a while (I always fear the compounding shipping since I can't go to a store). I'm glad I finally got these in Black -- got a 7 and they really fit like an 8 which is what I wear. I second the comment about how you can lace them tight around slender ankles but still have room for a well-defined calf. They are almost completely comfortable, but the heel is VERY structured and I find I need to wear thick socks because of this (for now -- I suspect this will resolve itself) -- I've gotten many compliments on my "ass-kicking boots" and the leather smells good enough to eat -- wait, what? :-O

I'm in Love!

These boots are amazing! Shipped to my office from the NY store b/c they didn't have my size in the tan in Boston. I put them on immediately- they look awesome with tights and a short dress and I can not wait to wear them with my jeans tucked in. The fact that they are a true lace up makes them even better- I have skinny ankles and mega calves, so knee high boots are tough for me. They are also very comfortable in that the footbed is shaped like an actual foot. These are perfect in every way!

Fluevogs - The Eigth Wonder of the World

A new category of "Wonders" should be added to list of Wonders in the World....Fluevogs! Nevermind 7 wonders of the ancient world, modern wonders, underwater world...WHAT about SHOE WONDERS!!! Fluevogs (ahem - JOHN) should be acknowledged as the most remarkable creations in the shoe fashion world! I just received my forth pair of Fluevogs yesterday (with a sweet little note from Liz at the Granville St location) and couldn't be happier..well until my next order, anyway! I bought the "I believe - Tall Paul" (with help of a GC from my sister, also a Fluevoganista!) the fit is awesome. Not as snug as I read from reviews, they have a long toe box (awesome with jeans!) stitching is divine, heal just right, comfort is out of this world (along the lines of my Fellowship Chenoa's)These boots will go with A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G and I proved that last night when I opened the box and put my Paul's on with my jammies!! Your website is so entertaining....your staff so polite, professional and willing to help ..THANK YOU! I am an addict thank your for feeding my addiction!
