[Burgundy and Black]
Named after her well-groomed facial hair, Gold Rush card cheat and gambler Eleanor Dumont has gone down in the Wild West history books as Madame Mustache. After winning fortunes from slow-witted gamblers in Gold Rush mining towns, Dumont would continue relocating to other unsuspecting towns, cheating her way across the Wild West. As she got older, Dumont would set up Casinos across Nevada, moving onto the next town when the locals would get wind of the fact that all of her games were fixed.
Using smooth Bottero leathers with a perforation pattern that circles and embellishes the shoe, The Dumont captures a slick and trustworthy appearance. This wingtip loafer with a leather tassle on a 2.5" Fellowship-Hi heel and a tunite Bellevue sole, assures you will always walk away a winner. Keep pushing west and beyond your imagination.
Ramona, Zach, Ali, & Paul from our New York store says:
The heel runs a bit large, and a tad wide in the heel cup.

Got these in the burgundy & black - loved it!! True to size & very comfy. Goes well with most of my work clothes. It does make a 'plop plop' sound when I walk - the tassels flapping around when I walk. That's ok... when you wear a Fluevog, you're bound to get attention anyhow :)

Pretty... but painful
I just adored these shoes on the website and had to have them. They are gorgeous, well-made, and comfortable... for the first hour or so. After that, my toes just get crushed, as if the shoe is too short (it's not) and they are sliding forward (I put a gel insert in the front, as I do for all my heels. The leather is soft and not cutting me anywhere. What's the problem? My only other pair of Vogs are the Malibrans and they have never given me any kind of pain at all. So I can't figure out what I need to do to get these comfy. :(

Can't stop myself
An interesting heel shape, an unusual high vamp, fun tassels, and a great shade of burgundy: what's not to like about these shoes? I'm usually a pretty frugal shopper, but Fluevog makes my financial life difficult. If only your shoes were ugly. Or uncomfortable. Or cheaply made. But noooo... and so I have bought 4 pairs in 8 months. Farewell, retirement plan.

Black cherry goodness
I mulled over these ladies for quite a while, as they're more conservative than my usual style. I am however, thrilled with them. They instantly make any outfit classy and classic somehow. I'm a 12 in pearl harts so wasn't sure about an 11 in these. Although a tiny bit snug, I can tell they'll be butter in no time. What I love is they look black and deep brown online but they're actually black and a deep burgundy. I'm loving that combo even more. They go sweetly with black and brown for work. Couldn't be happier w them.

My sweetheart bought me this pair in black for Xmas and they are gorgeous--in every way. I've been prancing around the house in them for the last hour, gasping occasionally, "God, they're just amazing!!" This is my third pair of Fluevogs and these are just the most beautiful yet.

First pair of Fluevogs!!
I had been lusting after a few Fluevog creations for a while, but waiting to buy until a recent trip to NYC. I hadn't really considered these before, but decided to give them a try and as soon as they were on my feet I knew they were the ones! Super comfy, very easy to walk in, and freakin' adorable. I AM a librarian, and have no problem with rocking a sexy librarian look and will totally do so in these beauties. @>- As a side note, the staff in the NYC store is incredible: they are very knowledgable and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Allan, whom I now adore.

Have the burgundy/black pair and I feel smug wearing these. They're very comfortable but have a wonderful sophisticated, not slutty "sexy librarian" look. They are a hint loose at the heal but not so much that my heel slips out, and my foot does feel secure in the shoe. Wear size 6 in all other Vogs, and size 6 in the Dumonts are a perfect fit.
