I've always been a huge vog fan. Own close to 20 pairs. Recently converted my husband as well, and he's now up to about half a dozen pairs. Unfortunately, he's been disappointed by two different pairs lately. This pair was great for a while -- a good looking pair of comfortable shoes. But yesterday, as we were trekking through the airport, one of the heels just popped right off! A similar issue happened to his Minneapolis special ... the toe part of the heel started to split away from the rest of the shoe after just two weeks! (Sheri Moe at the Minneapolis store was great in handling it for us, though. She deserves a raise). JF: Whatever new glue you guys are using, it's not working!

I love these shoes so much. First off they are the rare pair of shoes that really don't need broken in. They are pretty soft and flexible right out of the box. But what really sold me was the subtle sense of style...the cork in the heel, the leather strip laces, the hybrid boot/shoe concept. I keep my sense of style different from mainstream but also below the loud shouting colors and "look at me" stuff, and these fit the bill perfectly.
