Whether you are walking on water, or making psychedelic waves as a Go-Go Dancer, Miracles happen every day (at least they do here at Fluevog). The Defen booties were designed with contrasting colours in triangular shaped designs inspired by stained glass windows. Not for the faint of heart! A rear zipper is used to keep the design clean and streamlined, punctuating its bold appearance. Created in a Peruvian factory that has a reputation for outstanding quality and craftsmanship, the Defen bootie features 4" leather wrapped heels, supple Argentinian leathers built on a comfy 1" platform, and a foot molding leather sole that will ensure you look your hottest as you shake it across the dance floor. Practice the daily Miracle of giving.

Unfortunately too small!

I love these boots, however, they're quite narrow across the foot and for slim ankles. I am generally ok with a size 7 but should have ordered a whole size up. Hopefully, if I wear them socks I will be able to stretch them and be able to zip them up at the back. :-(

I so waited for these to go on sale. All my Vogs are sixes, so I thought..a six, it is! Yay, me. Wrong! These, as fabulous as they are--because they are!--are hard on my feet, very narrow at the toe box. Tight as could be! Ramona from NYC offered that I can take them in sometime to get them stretched and that in the meantime, I try to stretch these at home with an equal parts rubbing alcohol and water solution. I now have worn them around the house with thick socks as prescribed. Still very hard on the feet when have endeavored to wear them outside...and I will pray for no callouses or bunions! I will visit NYC in February, sometime, so maybe the store can soften them for me with their magic stretching tool. I also worry about the zipper...not such an easy zip. Hope this doesn't give way. I will be distraught! But, I was assured that, with my skinny ankles, the 7s would have been a disappointment (ie, too wide at the ankle) Ahlors, never had a problem or concern before...always a first time, I suppose.

Wow! Discovered these in the Calgary store and was completely gobsmacked. Couldn't decide between the white and the black so....I bought them both! Sexy, hot, unique, unusual, feisty - I own a lot of shoes and these might be my very favourites. Slim in the ankles so they will look great with dresses and skirts (and really you want to show these ones off so why wear pants with them?). Thanks for yet another amazing shoe!

Love at First Sight

When I walked into the gastown Fluevog, I was immediately drawn to these AMAZING boots. It was love at first sight @>-. They are cut very slim around the ankle, the colours are classy and multi-functional, and the heel is tall but comfortable (supported nicely by the platform). I never want to take them off. If you have narrow feet and calves, these shoes will look AMAZING on you. All I'm saying is... these boots were made for walking. And by walking I mean strutting your stuff all over town.
