Miracles Platform: Sharanpal
The Sharanpal Maryjane is a gentle reminder that Miracles indeed happen every day (at least they do here at Fluevog). Based off of a vintage Fox & Fluevog style with delicate swooping curves on a hand carved wooden last, The Sharanpal is completed by triangular cut out designs reminiscent of stained glass windows. Sharanpal, meaning "protected by the shelter of god" in Punjabi, is named after a lovely Fluevoger of the same name.
Using a Peruvian factory that has a reputation for outstanding quality and craftsmanship, The Sharanpal Pump features 4" leather wrapped heels, contrasting Argentinian bovine leathers in matte and furry finishes, all on a foot molding leather sole that will ensure you walk forward in love. Miracles are the surprises of the soul.

The fit is nice, and I really like the addition of a platform.

Happier and happier
With every pair of JFs I love them more! I do a lot of walking in heels which usually leaves me in pain by the end of the day. I could do a pilgrimage in these beauties! And as always they are so so pretty! I think I'll be getting the boots too since I love these so much.

My dream fulfilled
It has long been my dream for Fluevog to make a shiny silver mary jane. These beauties do not disappoint! I love them, not only because they look so gorgeous but also because they are so incredibly comfortable. 4" heels that create no fatigue or pain by the end of the day! I wear Fluevogs just about every day to work, and they are almost all heels (the exception are two pairs of F-shoes I have from my earliest foray into Fluevoggery), but I never experience any of the usual high-heeled-shoe problems. Bravo both for the aesthetics and for the foot- and back-friendly design.
Jill from Philadelpha:
I just got these for xmas in the metallic color and they are the most beautiful shoes I've ever seen. Plus the ration of platform to heel is ideal--I can tell I'll be able to wear them all day if I have to without much foot fatigue. Thanks again to John Fluevog for his inspired artistry. I have narrow feet and these are not narrow shoes, but I went for my normal size (8.5) and they fit fine--I may get a little heel hugger to keep my heels in place, but the strap will help do that anyway. These are perfect.

I brought my Sharanpals to work today thinking I would break them in and wear them for a couple of hours...they are so freakin' comfy I wore them all day! These are a must have. Wore them with a flared skirt and felt like Marilyn Monroe. These are worth every penny. Thank you Tanya in Calgary for all of your assistance I couldn't be happier with these beauties.

Shiny disco ball!!!!!!
I went to Vancouver on vacation and of course went to the store in Gastown. Made a bee line for these shoes in metallic as I had been drooling over them ever since they appeared on the website. I didn't buy them that day because I decided on the Caravaggios and a pair of the Kanawas in green, but I went to sleep that night at our hotel thinking about the Sharanpals. My husband told me to get them if I couldn't stop thinking about them :-> and when I felt that I would regret it if I didn't buy them we went back on Sunday and bought them. I'm usually a 7.5 and I sized down to a 7 after Wes at Gastown stretched them a bit for me. I have narrow feet but if you don't then get your true size. They fit well, I can walk in them because of the platform (although I will have half soles put in them as they have a very smooth sole)and they make me feel like a trillion bucks. I haven't worn them out but I wear them around the house, even to do the dishes! I agree with another commenter, these are the shoes to get this fall (until the Queen Transcendents make their appearance of course)
BTW, FANTASTIC customer service by Wesley at Gastown, he made my Fluevog experience truly awesome.

Long forgotten, the tender loving care that goes into the making of your shoes here at John Fluevog, lives on and is more that a tradition. Tis TLC at Fluevog!

I first would like to say that I am delighted that the DC store opened! I'd type more exclamation points, but I am pretty sure Ms. Post would say excessive punctuation in a public forum is indicative of poor etiquette. But seriously... These shoes are the most comfortable heels ever known to woman (or man -- you know you secretly want to wear them, gents). Go out and buy yourself a horrifically comfortable pair of Mary Janes with which to kick yourself if you pass these beauties up.

As soon as I saw these in metallic, I knew I had to try them on. These are gorgeous and ridiculously comfortable heels! I have size 9M feet, no special issues. These are true to size--unlike most Fluevog heels, I did not have to size up. They are a bit narrow, so likely would work best for narrow or medium-width feet. The metallic is BRIGHT, tri-colored, and totally awesome. The black ones are more subdued, but the varied texture makes them an incredible shoe. Simply put: these are wonderful!
Kristinn M from Calgary, AB.:
Oh so sexy! These fit perfectly even though I have wider feet, and they are comfy too! Love love love.
Natasha from Los Angeles:
I rushed over to the Melrose store last night after work, because I HAD to try these on. They are stunning. Comfy, too. I found them to run a little smaller than the very similar red Meeras - I own a 6.5 in the red Meeras, and bought a 7 in these. 7 is my usual size for Fluevog heels. The front strap on these hits in a comfy place, and doesn't put too much pressure on the foot, but it does keep it secure. I feel like I could stand in these all night without a problem.
