I have a men's size 8 shoe, and can not get these on both feet. Wish there was a zipper on side to slip them on and off. Super cute. Just to much of a hassel to wear so they sit in the back of my closet.

Love them -issue with heel

I've had these beauties for over a year now. I love them but wear them less often then the Bond Girls because the heel is falling apart!! The wood started showing signs of serious wear and tear after a few wears!! I took them back to have them fixed last year and was told "That's what happens". Had I known that, I would not have dropped $350 bucks on them, I would of bought another pair of Fry boots! I've had my Bond Girls for a few years now and wear them at least three days a week with no problems. The rubber sole is the way to go with Fluevogs. John, please fix these!!! I have several fluevog now and the wood sole doesn't cut it!! More rubber to protect it please!! Make my purchases and exitment for these beautiful designs last.

dream boots

i got this for my birthday, on fluevog's birthday - for free - how cool is that? i'd wanted them for a long time, made the leap, love them. i got a size bigger because of the reviews and they fit perfectly. when i am facilitating groups i am never a loss, even when there's really cranky people because these boots are unassailable angel magnets just like every other pair of fluevogs i own. hahaha cranky people! usually i wear them with jeans, but a while ago i wore them with gray flannel pants and a white shirt and that kinda rocked too... ]:o)

Awesome Boots

I lusted after these for a good six weeks before I broke down and made a pilgrimage to the Newbury Street store in Boston. Rachel helped me out and I purchased these beauties that day. I. LOVE. THEM. I have bad feet and knees and achey hips and I've worn these for days with no pain whatsoever -- just the tiniest bit of stiffness and rubbing that goes with breaking in any pair of boots. Other than that my body is totally happy in them. My fifth pair of 'Vogs. No one makes a shoe like Fluevog.

Hard looking, but need to be gentle

I have all the Earl or Warwick collection because they are HOT. They are a hard squeeze to get into. I busted the pull tab the first week I got them. Dropped them at the NYC store and they shipped them back to me 2 weeks later with the strap fixed and (per my request) reinforced on each shoe. I have to wear a thin sock, sit down and ease my way into them. When they are on,,, killer hot looking. I have had them a year now and one of the chains just snapped. They are at the local repair shop. You have to take care when you take them off so you don't break the chain with the sole of your one shoe against the heal of the other. Would love to see them in brown. Hard to get on but glad they don't have a zip side.

JUST bought them on-line!! So excited. I've been romancing them for two months now. I finally went to buy them (they fit big!!) and the store was out of my size `:O Panic set in; the thought of life without these beauties was way to much to bare and I bought them on-line as soon as I got home. Tough and Comfortable

Purchased over a year ago, wear them just about everyday in all conditions, construction sites, commercial kitchens, you name it, and they are still beautiful and so comfortable I forget I have them on. People still comment on them and tell me they rock. In 10 years I will buy them again, but only if the present ones wear out. I would love the same style only in a brown too.

Drooooool~!

These are the hottest boots ever, and comfortable to boot- I finally noticed the Earls of Warwick family while browsing the unisex footwear (I tend to focus on women's only), and promptly fell in love with the Wessex. I bravely resisted buying them for about a month, despite nearly daily pilgrimages to the Fluevog website to ogle their hot-ness. Finally, I capitulated- I'm a women's 8.5 wide, and bought a 9, which gives ample room (nothing some inserts didn't fix!) despite other Vogs I've tried tending towards the narrow. The shoes are extremely comfortable, and needed no breaking in to wear non-stop, tromping around. They're sexy, no-nonsense boots- get them while you can!

SLICK

Not easy to get on but once they are on, you're steppin. These are so great and with a long jean they show very well. I ripped the inner strap out the first week trying to pull them on, I took them into the Flue crew and they fixed them and reinforced the straps. I now pull them on by grabbing the back of the boot and forcing them on. I love love love them and just so you know, these make you tall.

My Lucky Boots

I bought these yesterday in Chicago and had to wear them out of the store. Went out walking, dancing, etc. in perfect comfort. And attitude? Yow! These are my utterly amazing LUCKY boots.
