Fellowships | Jenna [Black]
GROUPS:   Boot   Casual   Womens

Don't let this cute girl-next-door boot fool you, she's tough and complex, and will kick your can at a game of pool while drinking a local microbrew. There is no easy-zip on the Jenna, it's a full lace up with an ankle-strap that will race you on your bike as you bar-hop in your neighborhood. Jenna does let you cosy up to her softer side with a unique combo of soft Analine leathers, a 1" leather wrapped heel, all on a soft rubber Fellowship sole designed for comfort and durability. Don't let your emotions be fooled, this is more than a crush.

Ovelry Priced for What You Get

Owned a pair of Fluevog boots before, and they cost $225. I wore them walking a lot, and then the heels broke off quickly, exposing that the heel was actually made of plastic instead of the rubber the salesperson insisted it was made of. I eventually replaced the heels and they last 5 years, so I thought it was worth it. Looking online, I thought these boots were what I was looking for: simple, black Victorian-like boots reconstructed and modernized. And there are no zippers in addition to the laces (both together usually irritate me and to me look cheap). I thought the price was expensive, but I was desperate for a new pair. So I bought them, then wore them, thinking I was going to keep them. Once I got them home and really studied them, however, I must say that even though they are cute, they do not look durable. The soles of the shoe are thin and I feel like I have to be careful when I walk on city streets. I want something edgy, but $400 is a lot of money to spend on something that won't last. It's not like they are made in Italy or Spain where they know well-crafted and beautiful shoes. But because I wore them I can't return them. My advice: unless you're absolutely in love with the shoes, save your money and invest in a different line that will last.

Comfy Comfy Comfy

I just got these yesterday in black at the Boston store and I love them so much. It already feels like they're broken in! The leather is impeccable and they look great with tights. This is pair # 6 for me and what a great pair they are! Thanks again, Fluevog Boston!

Heels came off in 3 weeks wearing INSIDE

Was wearing in office for first weeks to break in slowly, never wore on street, and heels came loose and had to be completely replaced! NYC Shop included extra heels with purchase, so only had to pay shoeman's labor costs for repair. Quality not as high as previous Fluevogs: leather changing color, crazing, even without wearing outside in wet weather. They surely are the cutest boots and comfortable. Still, would not buy again at $339, price too high for quality. They do run small.

Awesome at first, not for everyday wear

I went to Fluevog because my friend recommended them as the boot that lasts... I bought last year's model of Jenna boot, and loved them at first. The fit, the leather... I wear my boots almost every day, which I know is a lot. I've had to replace the heel rubber multiple times, and bought entire heel replacements since the leather on the heel is cracking and peeling off. I am also wearing through the heel on the inside of the boot, which is normal for me since my feet are narrow and slip a lot. However, finally my big toe is wearing through the leather upper which I wouldn't have expected from such an expensive pair of boots. I love these shoes dearly, and will be sad to let them go. That being said, I wouldn't purchase these boots for durable, everyday wear, but save them for special occasions. Sadly, I might have to turn to boring old Doc Marten for durable boots, and pine away at Fluevogs which are much better looking, but not worth the price if you're looking for a lasting shoe. Bummer.

Finally, cute low-heeled boots.

Runs small; I thought I was a 9, but took a 10. Now that I've got the right size, I'm sure these comfy boots will become my everyday casual shoe. Very cushioned and soft on the feet, and on a blessedly low heel. Big ups to the folks in the Seattle store, who responded to my sizing dilemma with grace, frankness and amazing speed.

Love 'em!

Bought these babies at the NYC store - Petrea and Paul were wonderfully helpful. They are extremely comfortable and look even better in person. I usually wear a 9 or 9 1/2 - got a 10, fits perfect!!!

Rad-looking and comfy!

These have to be the most comfortable boots I own. The leather is so soft! Tried 'em on the other day and never wanted to take them off. Bought a black pair, but now I may have to get the other color combo too.
