Flawed and heart-breaking

I was so excited to get these shoes on sale. They were my thirteenth pair of Fluevogs - I have been a very happy Vogger for a decade, and always vocal about how great the company is. I have generated a huge amount of business for Fluevog. Sadly, these shoes fell apart on first wearing. The lining detached and bunched up in the toe of the shoe, and the crepe sole came off in the back - on BOTH SHOES. For the first time ever, I had to return a pair of Fluevogs. Since this is clearly a design flaw, rather than a defect (as it happened on both shoes exactly the same way) I requested my money back. And discovered, much to my surprise, that Fluevog has a policy to NEVER give a refund. No matter how badly their shoes perform, their policy is to repair them. I did not want a repaired pair of failed shoes. I wanted to pick out something that would last, as my other pairs have lasted. I was denied. I do have a credit now for the price of the shoes - and it was made clear to me that this was a HUGE favor. I told Crystal (the manager at the Portland store) that I was terribly sad about the whole thing, because I really can't support a company that doesn't guarantee their product. I told her we were breaking up, after a very long and happy relationship. She was not concerned in the least. I do not know whether I will even use the credit. The entire situation left me sour. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I don't know what happened to the company that earned my loyalty with such gorgeous design AND sturdy comfort. I'm actually grieving. Thanks for the good times... good luck, Fluevog.

In Love

I just got my shoes in the mail two days ago and I'm in love. They are soft as butter on my feet and oh so beautiful. I got a 9 and they fit well to size. I'm very impressed. These are my first pair of Fluevog's but they won't be my last.

Can we say UNIQUE??

I fell in love with these when they came out, but the price was steep for "inside only" shoes. They are killer, but definitely ones to bring to the office or an event, not for long walks or my bus commute. So I waited until the sale, and sure enough, the price went down and they were MINE! @>- These are, dare I say it, beginner Lady Gaga shoes. The curve below the heel and the two ways to lace (either wrap around the ankle or big bows) make them sexy as hell! I sized down to the 9s since they are whole sizes. Grab these at this price!!!

Fantastic, unique shoes! They have quite a high heel but there is a platform at the front to even it out a bit. The heel is quite narrow, so the sole resembles more of a stiletto outline, but the sole is rubber with really good grip. I'm a 7.5 and ordered an 8 online and they're perfect. I love that you can tie the laces around your calf for a sexier look or just tie them normally. I'm really glad I bought these.

Happy Birthday to Me

When I received John's email announcing his sale, on my birthday no less, I knew it was a sign. No matter how far down the list I scrolled, these shoes right at the top kept grabbing my attention. So, I answered their call. I bought them sight unseen online, and I'm almost in tears at how awesome they feel and look. The leather wraps hug my feet like a soft blanket and the hidden platform make them look very high without being at all uncomfortable. I wear size 8 in most shoes including the Prepare Guides, and these are also true to size. So perfectly, wonderfully fit to my foot. I wonder if my husband will notice that I'm wearing them to bed tonight...
