Stella fits perfectly just above your ankle with a modified, wider, Adrian last. They're made with thick Eurotexas leather from Portugal (Eurotexas... great theme park) and completed with an oversized metal zipper. The bump toe has been shaved off and placed on top of the extremely sturdy F rubber sole, F rubber heel lift and EVA midsole. You'll love these so much you wont want to leave the house without them, and if you do, you'll dramatically stand under your window yelling, "Stellllaaaaa!" In all honestly, this boot is durable and stylish and bound to be a classic.

The Stella fits a lot like a galosh; super comfortable with a wider ankle!

Very comfortable, sized a half size up. Love the look and feel of these boots and thrilled to get them on sale!

Comfy and stylish!
I got the blue ones at the sale price because I'd been eyeing them since they first came out. They are really well-made, what a deal! They are beautiful and I ended up in my normal size, which is an 8. I'm a small 8, but also, the salesman said some people have to size up to get them on -- something about the in-step. I find them easy to get on and off though. Love the zippers on the outside!

Perfect Snow-belt shoes
so these are perfect for when the snow's not high, but all of the side-walks and parking lots are a mess. Unlike "snow boots" that get hot indoors, I can wear these at work AND in the mucky travels.
I am a 8 in regular shoes, i had to size up to a 9 (my first fluevog nines!) because they were so short. my foot could fit in the 8.5 but my toes were so pinched. I guess I find that the fluevog distance between the heel and the ball of the foot tends to be shorter than other shoes. Usually when I size up they start getting too wide, but with winter socks, these are perfect.
As for the shaft being wide, IDK. It's wide, but that's the style. I don't feel like it's wider for a wider calf. in other words, if you have a wider calf, i would be cautious about whether your calf is going to fill out the top of the boot. I think you wouldn't want it to. I think they'd be uncomfortable at that point.
TL;DR they are amazing if they work for you. Especially given the crazy low price at this point.

If you have a high arch..forget about it.
Geez, I need to send these back and I'm so disappointed.
So lovely,...but I can't even get my foot in them !!!
if the zipper was down to the sole I think I would have had a shot, but as is, no way.
I'm giving up on women's shoes and boots here...I'm a size 11/12 and they just run too small.

...at LEAST half a size up...
Very high instep indeed. Would at least need 1/2 a size if not a full size up in these.
A bit awkward to zip up as the zipper is on the outside rather than the inside like many other F-sole shoes.
