Completely Badass Fluevogs By Mail

My Frontiers just arrived (thanks, Chivogo store) and I am in love. I splurged last week because I was having a stinky day at work and these boots make everything all better. Super awesome with a skirt and tights, or under jeans. I am a 9.5/10 and the 10 fits perfectly.

Wow!

I had a chance to visit the Hollywood store!!! Tried on these pups and wow! really terrific!!! I wish they came in half sizes. I had to go up one whole size. Now have room for my orthodic and magnetic insoles. Well made, fluevog quality leather and speed lacing all the way up the leg. So why are you waiting go for it!!

Sistahs are doin' it!

My sister is a raging Fluevogger. On our visit to Vancouver, she demanded we visit her personal Mecca. She had pre-shopped on the website, and insisted we buy 'Sister Boots'. Preet found a pair of black for me, and green for Moe. I found another pair of shoes for myself, too. Completely chuffed, we strode out onto Granville; two six-foot tall broads with chins up, grins wide, wearing short skirts, looong jackets, and the BOOTS! Heads turned, women pointed and cried, 'Are those FLUEVOGS???' Grinning, we cried 'YES!', and spent the rest of the day shopping the Olympic City. The feet felt great at the end of the day, even with my fullsome calves and rather wide feeties. Now, my colleagues in Sweden are asking, 'Var hittade du dem stovlarna?' Soon, they will be asking, 'Är de Fluevogs?' and I will answer, 'JA!'

Great boots!

These are my first pair of Fluevogs but the experience so far has been so great, I think they won't be my last. Do take note, I think they're sized a little small. I usually take a 7, even with my wide feet, but these were definitely an 8 for me. The exchange was painless, though, so no harm done. These boots are ideal for me because of my big calves. They lace all the way up so you can get a perfect fit for the curve of your leg. The tongue is pretty wide -- wide enough that even when the laces span about 3 inches at the widest part of my calf, the tongue still completely covers my leg and there's plenty of overlap between the tongue and the rest of the boot. They're also super comfortable and required almost no breaking in. Thumbs emphatically up.

LOVE these boots!

I have been looking for knee-high, full lace, speed lacers for years. I had a pair that I bought in the mid 70s and wore them into the 80s. Finding these boots just made my day! I read the two other reviews about sizing and was able to the the correct fit on the first shipment (they're MY boots now and I'm keeping them!). I have a narrow foot and ordered a half size larger -- perfect fit. The quality is marvelous. These boots didn't take much to get used to -- not anything like my Army combat boots. Thank you John Fluevog!

I feel like an anime character! :)

Bought these boots in olive green and they are the most fantastic things on the planet! Every time I wear them, I feel like the spunky main character of some magical anime -- an anime where the smartly-dressed heroine saves the dashing hero, rather than the other way around! :) Especially great if you have "athletic" calves -- I'm a frequent runner with toned (read: bulky) lower legs, so I couldn't get most of the Fluevog boots to zip up while trying them on in the store. The Sundances, however, are a different story! They lace all the way up and will hug your curvaceous calves in the most flattering way possible. This is my third pair of Fluevogs, and I can't wait to add to my collection in the months to come. Yay JF! :)

GREAT BOOTS!!!!

Can't say enough. This is my 3rd paid of Fluevogs and I keep falling in love with each pair. I bought these in green on Friday afternoon and it is now Tuesday - I put them on Friday evening and have worn them everyday since. They are so comfortable and I get tons of compliments. Great with skinny jeans and short skirts... what will I wear tomorrow??
