The 6 eye lace-up BBC is John's updated version of the 1920's working boot - one of the classic styles that is always at the top of any fashionista's (and sometimes worker's) lists. Using tough, greasy Atlas leathers, the BBC will be the year-round accessory that will complete any rough & ready outfit you might have planned. Featuring a teal/royal blue splash at the tag, an upturned toe, a wide footbed, and a tunite heel & sole, the BBC is the new classic hit from your favourite trusted shoe designer. Tune in, Turn on, and Vog out!

A very fine boot
6 months ago, I saw a pair of Fluevogs on someone, and bravely asked her who made those boots. She told me. I came here, and decided I had to have the BBCs. They remind me very much of my Grandfather's WWI laceup boots. Nicely made, leather soft and supple. I, generally, wear boots - for ankle support and because I ride motorcycles. In this case, I have the added feature that I never much cared about - beautiful boots. A fashionista! Well, perhaps not, but I do enjoy these very much. Practical is my keystone on my clothes and boots. If they are dressy but inpractical, I don't own em. I don't need dressy. I need something that will happily get as scarred as my hands, and still be functional.
If you are wondering if you should buy your Fluevogs - stop, just do it. You will be happy you did. *Absolutely* the finest boot I ever bought. Will I wear my BBCs while on my bike? no, I have other boots for that, but in all other cases, it's me and my BBCs. As with other folks here, the support folks couldn't be more attentive and available. I don't leave near a Fluevog store, so Monica from San Francisco called me several times as we discussed various aspects of my boots. I got them friday and am loath to take them off. I cannot encourage you too much to go ahead - buy them. Just do it. /john

Soho Fluevog rocked my socks off!
Bought these magical shoes in black last week and have told everyone I know about them (including the infamous Big Gay Ice Cream Truck while I ate my Salty Pimp). I usually wear a women's 10 or 9.5 but they only had a men's 8 in stock. It fit great so I bought them on the spot. I have only worn them in my house since the weather has not been so nice (I'm a tad picky about rain and new leather)...but they are DARN comfortable and don't need breaking in at all! They are lovely to look at and delicious to wear. Thank you to the NYC staff who were AMAZING to me. LOVE my first pair of Fluevogs - fan for life right here!

Radios rock
I received my Radios last week and have worn them ever since (giving my other nine pairs of Vogs a rest). They are soooooooo comfy and I love the soft waxed brown leather.
These absolutely rate ten out of ten stars!!!!!!

simply the best
I just picked up a pair of these today and WOW! The very first time i put them on it felt like i had been wearing them for years. They require absolutly no break in at all and are so comfortable right from the start. This doesn't supprise me though, Fluevogs are the most comfortable shoes a person can buy. This will make the third pair of vogs i have bought this week, I wonder what next week will bring?

My fluddiction, satisfied
I am now the proud and thrilled owner of these boots in black. when they first appeared on the site, I knew they were meant for me. As always, the customer service I received was second-to-none!! When I opened the box I melted with the smell and the feel of the leather! I was a bit concerned that they appeared to be a bit narrow, but fear-not, kind sole-aholics,once upon thy foot, the boots mold to that perfect fit. The black do not appear to be as distressed as the brown; however, a bit of dubbin grease brings the lustre right out. And Im sure they will distress nicely on their own, as I do not desire to ever take them off. Fluevog clan... could you arrange payroll deduction for my purchases? I am now the gleeful owner of 6 pairs.

I am so happy with these shoes - they are a stunning shade of brown (more muted than the pictures online with a design that's vintage, yet timeless and classy while still being a good old everyday unpretentious work boot. Length-wise they run a bit long. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and ordered the 6, but they still have too much space in the toe. Width-wise they are very narrow. This works well for me because my feet are narrow, but if you have slightly wide feet these will not work for you. I like that they came with a second set of dark brown laces as the light ones are not as attractive and really draw attention away from the leather. Another small complaint is the conspicuous tag on the back. It is so unnecessary large and really quite ugly. It seems like such a strange aesthetic choice for shoes that are otherwise so tasteful. The blue on the interior is a fun touch though. I just bought these, so will have to see how they last (they are quite an investment). The sole definitely feels somewhat flimsy and I imagine will need to be replaced at some point in the future, but those criticisms aside they are really the perfect boot for men and for women!

I was looking for something like this boot online when I first discovered the BBC boot in Brown. I was off to Montreal the next day to pick a pair up! On first impression, I was surprised that the boots didn't quite look as slick and weathered in person as they do here on the site. They looked muted. Softer. I quickly bought some mink oil ($6. Apparently beeswax or dubbin will do the trick too.) and slathered it all over them. Perfection! It really brought the character and the grit out of the leather. This is one badass boot! Sometimes Fluevog gets it so right. They appear thinner than they really are. If they can accommodate my super wide flipper feet, then they will also fit yours. Boots fit to size. A little snug at first, but the leather does loosen up in time as it is so soft.

Oh John Fluevog, how do I love thee??
These babies are the newest "chapter" in my long love affair with Fluevogs. They are wonderfully snug and supportive and look, dare I say, dainty, even on my size 11 feet. They look great with jeans. The only dilemma really is choosing between the black and brown - I chose the brown which has a great distressed, vintagey finish. I absolutely luuurve these boots!!
Tuned in, Turned on, and Vogged out!
A few weeks ago I went into the gastown store and immediately fell in love with these boots! I wasn't going to purchase anything that day, and I was going to put these on the "wishlist." However, once I tried them on, I didn't want to take them off. I tried the black ones on as they didn't have my size in the brown, but I knew I wanted the brown ones. I was going to wait for these to come in a few days, an maybe purchase them. I continued my day shopping around downtown, ended up at the opposite end of downtown when I got the phone call saying the boots had just come in. This was right around the end of they day, they had an hour before closing. My girlfriend and I booked it, we were practically running at times to get the store. We got there, and I bought them! My first pair of fluevogs. Saying I love the boots isn't even close to how I actually feel. They are comfortable, very stylish, and give you the greatest feeling when wearing them. I actually suggest buying them in a size that fits snug, these boots will stretch a bit and take on a perfectly comfortable mold to your feet! I could have written a 10 page essay about how great my visit to the store was and how awesome owning these boots has been, but I thought I would keep shorter. That is my first Fluevog story, I hope to have many more! Andrew

Rugged but also somehow dainty
This boot has a very close fit, and in the brown appears rugged yet also dainty. Not as much arch support as say the Coventrys, but comfortable. If you're a half size then you should definitely go up to the next bigger size.
