Recently poking around in his parent's attic, John discovered a box of mementos from his high school years, including a handwritten love letter from his first love. Feeling inspired by the youthful memories of puppy love, and realizing how far he has come since his first kiss, John decided to channel his emotions into a new style in the recreated Memories Family. Featuring an almond toe shape, soft veggie-tanned leathers in delicate pleating, a 5" leather wrapped heel on a comfy 1" platform, and Attention rubber soles, the T-strap slingback Treasury is both nostalgic and modern. I had been admiring these for a long time & finally had the opportunity to try them on in store but was disappointed :-(
First of all they are incredibly high (which I knew) but I had to go up two sizes & still couldn't fit my foot in the shoe. I have an average 7.5 foot & have never needed wide shoes. Was told they could stretch them but wasn't worth it. Too bad. Very pretty.
