Fantastic Boots

Aside from the bevvy of compliments these babies garner while I'm out strutting my stuff, they are incredibly comfortable. I have owned many boots, several being Fluevogs, and these are impossibly comfortable. Although they were quite stiff to begin, they never caused blisters and broke in quickly. You just have to give yourself enough time to lace them up, or risk being late for work.

My new boots arrived last week, and the photos did not do them justice! They are the most amazing dark lapis blue, and the moment I put them on, I felt invincible. They are a little stiff at first, but I am wearing thick socks, and so far I have no blisters. I get stopped frequently and people really are surprised by the boots. Really pleased with them, and looking forward to more great shoes.

AMAZING fit!!! I wear my pair all the time. Short break-in period despite being made from a stiffer leather, which held up great after I accidentally drenched them when I was caught in the tide. They'll wear on your feet a bit, so wear thicker socks and don't wear them every day if your feet get irritated. I think the stiffer leather provides better support than my Bills which I love dearly, too.

nice boots

I recently picked up the blue boots on sale in the city -- san francisco. During the first few days the right boot was very stiff, so I couldn't wear them for more that two to three hours a day. After about a week they started to feel okay, and are gradually getting better and better. This is my 4th purchase of Fluevog shoes, and I have never been disappointed. Just the other night, I was riding muni down Haight St. to go to a beer pub and the bus was almost full. I sat in the back and across from me was a guy sitting with his girlfriend. I had my leg crossed and he kept looking and looking at my shoes. His face said it all. His eyeballs looked like he was thinking, "Man! Where did you get those bad ass shoes?" It was the funniest thing! I had to do everything within my power to stop from laughing. His girlfriend was playing it cool -- but even she kept throwing some covert glances of approval. I reached my stop at Haight and Fillmore, and as I walked to the rear exit, some teenage kids said, "those are some cool boots." I said, "thank you," and it made my night.

Just got these today and they are already well on their way to being the comfiest footwear I own. They were almost too snug right out of the box but after wearing them around the house for only a couple of hours they have already started to take on the shape of my foot! Hurray for great boots! P.S. The shipping was really quick too.

I've fallen in love all over again

My 6th pair of 'Vogs, and these did not fail to disappoint. I've lusted after these for a while, and when I saw they were on sale I couldn't resist. I ordered online and the fit was perfect; as always, the staff were so helpful in making sure I had the right size. My Angel Derbies were comfortable right from the first wearing and garner compliments everywhere I go. Best part ... these boots came from the Vancouver Gastown store and came with very cool 2010 buttons and stickers welcoming the world to the "event we cannot name." LOL! YAY CANADA! these are made for riding!

These boots were impossible to resist at the sale price! I got the blue ones, and they fit true to size, stretch to fit your unique bumps and curves after one or two wearings, and garner compliments everywhere! SF store staff were most helpful w/sizing, and shoes arrived swiftly and in a very cool box, which I plan to use for storage in my craft room. I just ordered my third pair in as many months. Warning: these shoes may be habit-forming!

These boots were worth the wait

Grabbed a pair in blue after trying for 2 weeks to talk myself out of them. The Boston store was very helpful when I panicked and decided that I needed a 7.5 instead of the 7 I ordered. They were right, the 7 was perfect. These boots felt GREAT right out of the box. Yes, quite stiff, but no pain, not one blister. They are officially my all-time favorite boots. On day 2 I was wandering around Little Five Points in Atlanta and a girl walked up and asked if she could photograph my cool shoes. I don't want to take them off.

Best Boot Ever

These are truly the epitome of bootness. I bought my first pair of these in the mid 1990s and honestly they'd still be wearable if my feet hadn't grown a size in my early 20s. These boots are nigh indestructable, which is fabulous if you're hard on shoes like I am. And yet they feel like slippers inside. I've had actual combat boots and they're unbelievably uncomfy. Not these. They are cushy and are the most comfortable boot I've ever owned- I can walk for miles in them and no blisters. Which is why they get worn so darn much! I'm thrilled to see these come back even in a slightly shorter height. I get more compliments on these than any other shoe I own (and yeah, I have a lot of Fluevogs). I love wearing them with short skirts that show them off properly.

My Second Pair of Fluevogs

Each step I take feels like I'm walking across the back of the world now. The petty obstacles of mere mortals now feel like they could be crushed beneath my heel. I feel as if I stand on the back of angles. Truly I have become a god, a walker of worlds. Honestly I'm not going to lie, these things make me want to step on things. And when I say things, I mean people. This is awesome
