John decided that after providing stylish and sturdy style for 20 years, The 240 Wagon series needed an upgrade. Drawing inspiration from the reliable Volvo 760 he bought for his young family many years ago, John focused on the boxy and geometrical design of the inter-cooled turbo automobile. This style was named after the 1930s Svenska Flygmotor AB** which was the engine of single-engine propeller aircrafts, mainly used by the Swedish Airforce in the 1950s.

Using the same tough Atlas leathers from the 240s, oversized zippers, a square toed last for a wider foot, and 100% vulcanized rubber soles, the Svenska is an all-purpose ankle boot excellent on ice, snow, and slush. The 760 Turbo F-Sole even retains heat - if left in a warm dry area overnight they will give you hours of toasty toes in the winter (don't get us wrong, they're wonderful in milder climates as well). These re-soleable, tough shoes will cover many miles for many years to come.
